Having been a subscriber to Fingerstyle guitar player magazine (for 5 years), Howard's articles were the most clear and complete. This book is a continuation of that style.If you want to learn about intervals, chord substitution and jazz reharmonization techniques. This is it.

I studied with Howard Morgen 30+ years ago. He is one of the best teachers I've ever had (and I've had plenty). I recommend any book by him.
