Jayne and Jody Morse definitely put a twist on this
not-so-classic werewolf series, it was one of the first werewolf series that kept me guessing through all four books, I only called something once and it was not in the fourth book.(not telling find out yourself ;)
I love that this is one of the first werewolf series that the authors didn't use the name of God in vain. Two thumbs up for that.
(Personal realization)
I totally love how Samara was the Alpha, I see myself very easily in the role and although I most definitely have battle strategies and what not in my head, it was an excellent fit for Samara.
I also would love to give bonus points to the Morse girls, for their amazing, fantastic, breathtaking, racing, and eccentric ending to book four, congratulations I'm anticipating book five coming out.

It was not that bad but it was more of same kind of Twilight character. I will probably read the rest of the series but it is kind of mindless entertainment The only thing I found wrong is where they start several subplot and never finish them giving the books a sort of a lose thread in the weave. Also the involvement of the adult werewolves is inconsistent in how the society is structured, another example of an uneven weave.

I can't believe I actually finished the series. It was kind of easy to overlook the left out words & errors in the first book, but as they accumulated, it got on my nerves A LOT. I can't believe books can be sold with that many mistakes!!! The plot was ok, but characters were not developed and just didn't have any depth, in my opinion. It is definately a youth read. I waisted my time.

This is a very good series of stories, although it does remind me a lot of the Twilight Series. However, I find the main characters in this series to be funnier & more likeable. The use of slang, sarcasm & inside jokes really cracks me up.
The stories are fast paced; certainly no lack of action in these!
One thing that drives me crazy because there is absolutely no excuse for it, is the spelling and grammar errors. I do not understand how any book in this day & age can be published with these kind of errors.
Another small issue I have is that interesting characters and story lines are introduced, but not explored. The reader is just left wondering what happened to that character.
All in all, I can hardly wait to read more from this author!

This could have been a great read. I read them all but I don't understand how a writer couldn't remember what it was like to be a kid.
I don't care how or where a kid grows up they don't talk to each other like this.
It's very distracting and hard to take the story seriously with the lame way that they all talked.
I feel that there were times when there were too many details in some situations making you think" who gives a crap".
Seriously, what writer tells you that someone put their finger to their chin and thought.
I'm not trying to trash this writer but hope that it can help to make future books a better and more realistic read.

Story line - not bad. Characters - stereotypical and weak, lack charisma. Writing - needs serious work.

Surprised they wrote a second book. Cannot recommend.

Sorry Misses Morse. Perhaps you could find someone to run your chapters against as you write them? A third party could point out the things which simply don't work? The trick to great fantasy books is that the world itself it totally different but the people are the same. Eg., if someone is completely irritating to you they are - by definition - not your best friend. Never happens.

Outstanding job!!! As a retired Librarian, I had to dial down my reading expectations when I realized that this book was for young adults. But I must say that I was pleasantly surprised, these books were so well written, and I love the way that the authors handled the one love seen. So many times I find that a lot of authors put so much effort into writing such descriptive love seems that the actual story leaves a lot to be desired. My hat goes off to the authors of this series, and I look forward to reading the next book.
