This review is from: Hoya 58mm Introductory Filter Kit - Ultraviolet (UV), Circular Polarizer, Warming Filter (Intensifier) and Nylon Pouch (Accessory)
The kit came to me in fine shape. The filters weren't dusty or looked like they had been handled as it appears some of the other reviewers experienced. I did have to do some minor cleaning, however.
The kit includes a nice Hoya nylon/vinyl filter case with four pockets. Also included is the Hoya filters catalog. I have only been able to play with the filters for a short time and I'm still learning how and when to use them. The filters seem to do what they are supposed to do and I look forward to experimenting with them more. As a beginning photographer, I would recommend this kit for those like me who want to expand their capabilities. I have also uploaded a few quick pics of the contents - hope they help.

I use these lenses for the Canon Powershot XS20IS. I have the Warming filter on first, then the UV filter, then I take the Polarizer on and off depending on if I'm indoors and lighting. With the Powershot, I had to get an adaptor (from [...]) to get the filters to attach. All of these filters create a slight vinnetting on the borders, but it disappears by zooming in a bit. Overall, I'm impressed with the filters, especially the polarizer. It's a good quality polarizer for the price. It really cuts down on glare, reflection from windows and shiny surfaces, and makes the image more crisp. All of the lenses were a bit dusty when I got them, so I had to clean them up a bit, which isn't a big deal.

I decided to order this package, despite the complaints in the reviews of finger prints on the filters. I held the opinion that a finger print needing cleaning was a minor issue compared to filter quality or malfunction. The filters came in a nice folding pouch that will hold 4 filters in total. Each filter was packaged in a plastic envelope. I found all filters were clean and ready to go. I've used all three filters and particularly like the polarized filter, probably because I have been frustrated by glare lately. I also have used the UV filter quite a bit. I had the oportunity to take some brilliant photos of wild waves in high winds at sunset in Doolin, Ireland. The filter got quite a bit of sea spray, which had to be cleaned, but I was far happier to have protected the actual lens. I don't know why I've waited 10 years to by filters.

Hoya Lens Filters,

My filters arrived in a sealed box and the lenses were individually enclosed in plastic sleeves. I keep the warming and UV filters on at all times and have noticed a difference in my pictures. I am a beginner photographer, so if I can see the difference, the more atuned eye will also. Ordering a 2nd set to go with my 2nd lens. This will speed up the lens change.

This product is everything as advertised and showed up promptly. The quality is very high. Glass not plastic which is important in my opinion. Means they'll last and not get foggy when cleaned. I have bought this three filter kit in any size I have a lens and will continue to do so.

These filters are what they say they, filters. They are well made and fit perfectly on my Canon T1i. I don't know what people are talking about with the packaging or smudges on the lenses, mine came in perfectly and well packed. Even if there somehow was a smudge, just clean the lense, don't worry about it and lower your ratings. They probably touched the filters themselves with their grubby hands while taking them out. They even come with a nice case that can hold a few more filters than came with the kit.

The filters are OK. Really easy to use.
Not best quality but for the price it gets as good as you expect it to be. I would consider other filters if you re working with wide angle lenses when you stack the filters it gets pretty thick.

I had to return these filters because I accidentally ordered the wrong size. However, I wanted to review so people would know that in my experience, they were packed very well. The filters were in individual plastic sleeves that were then placed inside the netting pockets in the black folio. The folio seemed sturdy and I did not see any scratches or fingerprints on the filters. I'm hoping for the same experience on the kit I just ordered in the correct size.

I know nothing about photography i bought a cannon t2i on an impulse one day, and i wanted to mimic great shots that i see in music videos and movies, which led me to learning about these filters. They immediately made any further pictures i took look very professional. These fit perfectly on the end of my lens for my t2i, and were shipped in a soft case, wrapped in plastic. The filters were flawless, and you cant beat this price for 3 of them, highly recommended :)
