Product Description
Light rays which are reflected by any surface become polarised and polarising filters are used to select which light rays enter your camara lens. They allow you to remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass etc. They also saturate colors and increase contrast. Polarizers come in two variations but have the same effect. Linear polarizers work with older camera meters; Circurlar polarizers are designed for today's newwer slpit-beam metering systems used in auto focus cameras. Check your camera's manual.

This item arrived early and in perfect condition, as well as great packaging. The seller was prompt and will buy again. I've used this lens on sunny days, and the pictures came out wonderful-no glare or color distortion. I highly recommend a polarized filter for bright days when taking photos.

I bought this filter to be able to take pictures at a wedding in front of a glass wall overlooking some beautiful scenery. I wanted to be able to get the photo of the bride & groom without overexposing the outdoors. This filter allowed me to do just that! I'm extremely please with the way the photos turned out....as are the newlyweds!! I couldn't have achieved it without using this fileter. For me, it was a very smart purchase!

Lens works very well but is difficult to screw on to the lens. The threading does not seem as precise as other filters I have used for my Canon SLR.
