The Hoya UV filter seems to be a quality product. This brand actually looks as though there is a multi-coating applied to the glass, compared to other brands that claim to be coated and do not exhibit any evidence of a coating. For the price I paid, it was a great deal.

I use the UV filters primarily as a clear lens protector for my DSLR lenses. Keeping that in mind, this lens arrived in good condition, screwed onto my camera lens just fine, and seems to be doing its job.
