Uninspiring addon for Hoyle Casino series,

If you are a casual blackjack player and already have one of the Hoyle Casino editions then I don't recommend getting this edition. The layout is the same, with the same familiar computer opponents and the same fixed 2D perspective of the table. Even the two video blackjack games are identical to the Hoyle Casino series. The only new things here are a few more variations of table Blackjack, such as Spanish, Special 21's and Six Card Charlie. Sure, the table has it's own unique graphic in the middle of the baize depending on the variaton, but that's just a bit of cosmetic fluff that doesn't affect the gameplay. (And probably only took a few days to complete)
If you're *really* into Blackjack then you might like this if you could snag it at a low price, but I was quite disappointed with what is really only a lazy addon to the existing Hoyle Casino game engine. |
