An excellent casino game!,

First of all, I must correct some criticisms listed by other reviewers. There is no problem with the screen size of this game. I use this game on my notebook and desktop computers, both with different resolution settings. On both computers, the default for this game is to use the full screen.
This is a surprisingly thorough casino game with authentic games and rules. There are at least 50 different slot machines of all different denominations and pay lines. There are also all, and I mean all, of the games you'd find in a real casino. I like the authentic rules on some of the games, but I also enjoy the feature that allows me to customize the rules to better suit my experience. The graphics are nice, but don't expect intense graphics from a casino game! The graphics are definitely that of Windows 95, which one person wrote, but they're not space age either. The key is realistic expectations. This is by far the best casino game out there, and it's great for all ages! Highly recommended to all!

I liked the prior version and bought this update. The variety of casino games is good and I like the layout. I don't have any crash issues like others. My rig is a AMD Athlon 64 4000+, 4 GB DC RAM, 256 MB nVida and WinXP Pro.

I bought this game four days ago, and I have been playing it all the time. I do have the 2004 version and it is similar, however it is still fun. I don't know what type of computer other people that have had problems are using, but the game hasn't crashed once for me, and I have been in the texas hold em' tournament. The game is a lot of fun, without going to an casino and spending all of your money.

I bought an older version of this game 4 years ago, guess what? same game and not even a glimps of anything new. Its exactly the same graphics, same layout, same games. Purely a rippoff for those thinking they actualy tried to do anything with it over the years. If you own the 2002 version, nothings changed, and I MEAN nothing.

I purchased the game 2 days ago and have been using it on a Pentium II 300 MHz Windows 98 PC, and a Pentium III 700 MHz Windows XP, SP2 PC, and it has been crashing on both - 2-3 times a day - usually when I am in the finals of a Texas HoldEm tournament !!! Damned buggy software.
A lot of other people have had issues with this game crashing as well, for example: http://forums.encoreusa.com/tm.asp?m=9776 Moose Mooses Software Valley

I have the 2004 version of Hoyle Casino and I have never had it crash my computer. I have an older computer. I have also purchased Hoyles puzzle games with no problems. The scenery, sounds, and graphics are great. It even includes a waitress that comes by to give you drinks. If your a novice at some of the casino games it includes a tuttorial that plays along with you and helps with understand the rules. I love it and it is far superior than those cheaper games. What are you waiting go ahead and buy it, you won't be disappointed.

I purchased this game 1 week ago - While in the Poker Tournament, it kept crashing. I turned off the background music and it hasn't had a problem since. I am having a great time learning the different games. There needs to be more speaking opponents and more comments. It gets boring hearing the same thing over and over. All in all it is a good game.

I bought this version instead of the 2007 version which had many bad reviews. This game is fun has all the casino type action but overall the dealer still has the advantage. The price was right so you cannot go wrong.

It is almost the same as Casino 2004. The charecters are the same and they say the same things. There is no intro and they don't serve drinks. There are a few new games, but most of them are the same. It could have been much better.
