5.0 out of 5 stars Had the old, waiting on the New.
I have re-ordered. I had so much fun originally, I sent it to my sister in another state to download. Unfortunately, she lost or misplaced it so I have ordered it again.

I love it. It allows you to bet in higher denominations which is more realistic. I have visited the "free slots" on line and none can compare. The closest I have come to Hoyle Slots &...

2.0 out of 5 stars Boring! Money Waster!
I suggest you look at other software before purchasing this Hoyle product. Although the colors are nice and vivid, the games are a little boring, there's no action, or special effects. I don't get that "I'm at the casino" feeling with this game.

3.0 out of 5 stars An Update?, January 22, 2002

Read the reviews for the previous versions of this. I want to know what the changes are. Are they purely graphical with a few new gAmes, which are probably re-worked versions of previous games. My propblem with the 2000 version I have is that after a while, the various games are basically the same with different symbols, and the same pay-out schedule. On top of that, the machines are tight. You can go through your entire 100 credit allotment without hitting, especially on the higher top jackpot machines.

On the other hand, the video poker is excellent and probably the most realistic, and the graphics are top-notch.

For realism, Maaque does a great job copying IGT and Bally (Slots 2). The slots2 from Masque is perhaps the best, only one better is Phantom EFX Real DEal Slots and Video Poker which is an exact replica of real machines with the names changed slightly...

I love it. It allows you to bet in higher denominations which is more realistic. I have visited the "free slots" on line and none can compare. The closest I have come to Hoyle Slots & Video Poker software is from the Riverbelle. The Riverbelle Casino and slots is 1 star in comparison with Hoyle.

2.0 out of 5 stars Midnight Gambler Loves Double Diamond, November 1, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Hoyle Slots And Video Poker 2002 (CD-ROM)
I have bought several cds of slots, and I can tell you that none of the ones I've been able to get here in Canada match up to the old red, white, and blue (sevens), the double diamond, cherry fever, etc. I have tried to get Slots and Slots II, which have my favorite games, Hoyle Slots which has some, but no, we can't get them here. Even the Casinos up here are changing, and I'm bored with their choices, so yeah, Hoyle Slots and Video Poker would give me some relief from my agony!!
