I ordered these for my 86 year old mother. It's getting to the point where she can not see some things on TV. She loves to play cards, but the ordinary deck is out of the question. These worked great.

This product has been a real help to an uncle of mine who has macular degeneration of the eyes, but loves to play cards. These large face cards have helped tremendously. He is able to see these cards without as much difficulty as when using regular size cards. Thanks.

A few years ago, my grandmother passed away. My granpa was left alone, so one of the ways my family sought to help him was getting together once a week to play cards and bet a little money for the winner. It really helped but since my grandfather is 86 now, he has trouble hearing and seeing. Still, he continued to play.

The last few months it started getting frustrating for him and he was becoming less motivated to play. So I thought I'd look for some cards to help him out and found these. His reaction when they showed him the cards was priceless; he couldn't believe he could clearly read them, with no problems at all! He's back to having fun and even won the first game they played with them! A great product that's helped out in many ways, give it a go and play with your loved ones.

I have ordered many times from Amazon.com and have always been pleased with their service and products. These cards are great! There are cheaper cards out there that claim to be "jumbo." Beware - the "jumbo" refers to the size of the card - not the numbers. These "HOYLE SUPER JUMBO" cardS are a must for the visually impaired. A great produt at a good price.

My 88 year old mom has macular degeneration and cannot read without a special magnifying machine. She loves to play Skip Bo and Solitaire but needed big printed cards. These playing cards gave her back her joy of playing Solitaire.

I bought these for an friends elderly mom who LOVES to play cards but has some severe vision limitations. She was ever so grateful which made them worth 100 times what I paid for them!!

I ordered these for my mother, who has macular degeneration. The size of the numbers is good, but she had a problem distinguishing the aces from the 4's, and couldn't readily make out the jacks because the hook at the bottom of the J is quite short, not a real hook. Also, when holding the cards fanned out, you can't easily see the suits because they're covered by the overlapping cards. I imagine the degree of degeneration plays a part in how good the cards are, but if you have an advanced case it'd probably be wise to look around before buying these.

I have very low vision and have been using these cards for many years. I used to purchase them from the Canadian Nations Institute for the Blind but can no longer get them from them. I would recommend these cards for anyone who has low vision and likes to play cards.
Amazon.com is the only place I was able to purchase them from.

These cards are great as I am a poker player. I could have kept may older ones but these will help everyone know exactly what they have in their hands. Great product. I will give it 5 stars.

These cards are a quality product. They are plastic coated so they are durable. The letters and numbers are very clear and easily read. A friend we have played cards with for years has begun having vision problems and could not see the cards well enough to continue playing. We tried other decks for low vision with large numbers in different colors but he found them confusing and too difficult to follow. With the purchase of of these cards, the problem was solved--the numbers are large enough and in the correct colors. We have our friendly competions going again!
