This is my favorite game to relax with after work. I would say it is the game I play most often - and depending on my mood - depends on which game in the game I play. Wordox definately rocks when you want a challenge. Word Yacht though is my favorite.
If you like word games at all - Hoyle is the best. I have tried others and found them lacking in gaming ability or ease to use. Hoyle is #1 in my book.

I found these games to be addicting!!My favorite is doublecross but I pretty much like them all.Hangman is another of my favorites.I love it when the characters talk..Sometimes they make me mad(smile)I could sit and play the games for hours..At first when a 10 yr. old wanted me to play with them,I thought they were kids games..I had a great time,now she can't get me away fr om her game..I advise everyone who wants to have fun alone or with other player to get this one.

Here comes a collection of nostalgic addicting puzzles that will "Boggle" your mind. Similar to many popular board games, it's all that and more, with quirky characters that say too much at the wrong time. For one or more players, I think it's a family oriented game as well as a "keep you up all night until you win" challenge. I can't wait for the next collection from Hoyle!

I love this game. No, I mean I LOVE THIS GAME!!! I own the other Hoyle games and find the charaters interetsing. Anagrams are probably my favorite just because of the talking skull heads who interject with things like "Try beernut" or "you got a pentium in here?"

I HAVE ONLY PLAYED THE DEMO AND IT IS SO MUCH FUN MY TWO DAUGTHERS AND I PLAY TOGETHER ALL THE TIME WE PLAY HOURS AND HOURS JUST ON THE DEMO IMAGE HOW MUCH FUN I WILL HAVE WHEN I GET THE ACTUAL GAME. I CAN'T WAIT

I have all of the Hoyle games and this one is my favorite. I can't sit down and play just one game I have to play them all. My favorite is Word Yaht You will not regret adding this game to your collection.

Hoyle has made word games more fun than ever. This product has several word games from which to choose some more challenging than others. Play alone or with up to three human or computer players. Hoyle takes it one step further with the added feature called Face Maker. This feature allows you to create your own player. Choose from several body shapes, face shapes, clothes and costumes, hair colors and styles, eyebrow shapes, eye shapes and colors, nose shapes, lips shapes and colors, hats, sunglasses. Use the mix feature in Face Maker to create zany and bazaar characters.
And there's still more features to Hoyle Word Games. Choose from three skill levels and added game features. Then, choose your environment. Set the game speed from very slow all the way up to very fast. Next, choose your background music from several available or just choose random for a different song each time. Finally, choose how talkative you want the computer player or players from not at all to very talkative. That's right, the computer players talk to you. They will do and say lots of things to make you laugh or distract you from the game. It's their job but it also makes the games more fun and challenging. Some are very sweet about it but others can be downright insulting depending on your choice of settings.
I just recently bought Hoyle Word Games 3 from Amazon. I have owned all the previous versions and love them all. If you love word games, you'll love Hoyle Word Games even more. Try it and see how much fun word games have become.

I don't own "Word Games" but I guess I'm going to have to break down and buy it because I've been playing the demo version of "Word Yacht" and I love the game but the Chemistry Teacher's remarks are driving me crazy. I need the complete version of the game so I can readjust her mouth! Without having played the complete version, I can't give it more than a four.

You have found the right game! This CD-Rom is so much fun! The games keep you glued to your computer. There is something for everyone in this compilation. I dare you to not like at least *one*.

The Hoyle Word Game 2002 is fun to play. I play often with my 10 year old son. We have all of the Hoyle games and enjoy them all.
