5.0 out of 5 stars Lets your dog entertain himself for hours!
This ball is the best I have ever seen! It can be chewed on for hours and not a mark on it. When the dog throws it up in the air for play it bounces high, far, and in unpredictable ways that greatly entertain your dog. The crevices give the dog a good place to grab and definitely enhances the whole experience. When I throw the ball for my dog I never know where it...

1.0 out of 5 stars Our dog chewed off a piece in less than two hours
Very disappointed. We got a huck after reading the reviews and discovered it was no better than an extreme Kong - which our dog ripped a chunk off quickly.

Our dog is a 55 pound foxhound mix, so we got a large huck ball. He took the piece off the huck in less than 2 hours of chewing on the first day. The really disturbing part about this incident is that we...

5.0 out of 5 stars Yes it really is indestructible!, March 4, 2007
This review is from: Huck Large 3.25" (Colors Vary) 1 Ball (Health and Beauty)
This is the first and only toy that has so far managed to withstand the ravages of "Diilbert" who is our 90+ lbs Bullmastif cross, who LOVES to chew. A first class toy.

The really disturbing part about this incident is that we can't find the piece he chewed off and we are concerned he may have eaten it.

I suppose we can send it back for a replacement, but if they can't take the stress what's the point of getting another one?

Bottom line, in our experience, this doesn't stand up to the abuse of a power chewer.

I have a 60lb. pit mix that destroys every toy we give him. We bought a toy that was advertised as the "world's toughest dog toy" (yes it was soft, but they claimed it was reinforced six or seven times to be rated very good for heavy chewers) and in less than a half hour he had destroyed it. He's gone through kongs and other similar toys as well. He has had this ball for over a year now and it is still whole! We can actually leave him with the ball and he will chew but has yet to break it. I highly recommend this ball!

5.0 out of 5 stars Indestructible!!!, December 17, 2009
This review is from: Huck Large 3.25" (Colors Vary) 1 Ball (Health and Beauty)
My dog can destroy any toy except this (and eventually the Kong) - this is even stronger than the Kong product though! It is heavier also - I do worry about throwing it directly to him (like I am going to knock his teeth out) but my husband says I'm a worry-wart. It has a good bounce to it. Sometimes I do think the dog gets a little bored with it though b/c t is so indestructible - I think this is the perfect dog toy for dog parks and shelters everywhere b/c if it's durability (and the material is "soft" so it doesn't hurt/cut the dog's mouth). This is def. for the dog that destroys everything; they won't destroy this!!! The place I bought it from also said I could return it (I've never seen it at national retailers, it was at a local store).

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly a durable toy for a change!, January 19, 2008
This review is from: Huck Large 3.25" (Colors Vary) 1 Ball (Health and Beauty)
I have a Dogue De Bordeaux. (French Mastiff..or Turner & Hooch dog.) This dog can chew up and destroy anything. I've bought so many toys for her that they promise your dog can't ripped up. I've bought the jolly balls that say those can't be destroyed...but my mastiff can chew the handles off them and put holes in the balls in no time.

But I bought this "Huck Durable Ball" in the large size and my mastiff loves it. I've had it almost a year now and it is one of her favorite toys and she CAN'T tear it apart/destroy it for a change. Plus my mastiff loves the water and this is a great toy to throw in there. She loves to go after it and it fits in her mouth nicely so she can get it and bring it back.

Also if you throw this toy on cement which I have in my back yard it goes every which way due to the way its shaped. So she never knows which way its going to go completely. Makes it for fun for her. You do have to be careful as it is a HEAVY ball and if it hits the cement I am surprised at how high it can fly if it hits just right. I love this toy...one of my best purchases for her. If you have a big dog that tears up all its toys...try this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product!, January 8, 2008
This review is from: Huck Large 3.25" (Colors Vary) 1 Ball (Health and Beauty)
Yeah!! Finally a ball my dog won't pop & destroy. Our dog is a very aggressive chewer & promptly destroys any new toy or ball - except this one. Thanks for a great product, we would highly recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy toy, June 24, 2010

After one month, this ball is reasonably intact which is nothing short of a miracle considering Mazy, our German wire hair pointer mix, has reduced a Kong to a pile of rubber pieces in the past in short order. She has managed to take a few bites out of the ball and does like playing with it. This is just about the only toy that has held up except for the Nylabones. I recommend it for dogs who are "rippers and shredders" like Mazy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Has met with great approval from a German Shepherd Dog, April 3, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Huck Large 3.25" (Colors Vary) 1 Ball (Health and Beauty)
My 100 lb German Shepherd Dog has expressed great tail wags in his review of this toy.

As his parent, I have too... it's still in one piece. This fact is it's own little miracle... my dog has destroyed almost every style of KONG toy in less than 24 hours. To say that he is an aggressive chewer is an absolute understatement. They don't have a word that describes what this dog does to toys. Seriously.

The double bonus for this little beauty is that if it does get destroyed, they send you a free replacement! Sweet deal!

Also good news for this toy is that it's made from some recycled materials, and made in the USA (YEY Bozeman, Montana! Go Cats!)

I'm not disappointed in this purchase at all. I'm looking forward to other shapes made from this material to see if they hold up as well as this ball does.
