5.0 out of 5 stars Extreme Sports?, Live performances? This is it!
The contents of this video are extreme sports, a 'cultural' time with Noodles, the band's lead guitarist, some time with the band's crew and 5 live performances of The Kids Aren't Alright, All I Want, Gone Away, L.A.P.D. and Staring At The Sun.

This time, with some music from the CO1 album as the background.

2.0 out of 5 stars Nothing like the Americana Video

5.0 out of 5 stars Offspring home video with amazing stunts, December 12, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: The Offspring - Huck It (DVD)
The offspring just released yet another great cd, 'conspiracy of one', and to follow it up, they have released this movie which lets you take a surreal look at the band and see some of the most extreme stunts ever. The dvd also contains footage of the band playing as well as outtakes from the video, "The Kids aren't alright." If you like rock n' roll or punk, this is a must have dvd.

This review is from: Huck It [VHS] (VHS Tape)
OK I don't have Americana video, but I think this still rocks!Great stuff: Band members do extreme sports..(Dexter jumps out of a plane!!that gotta be COOL) Live concerts ...and ofcourse lotta laughs! (Noodles's acoustic segment is great hehe) If you're a REAL Offspring fan, you gotta have one (or more) of these! Not too long though...36 min but it's worth it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great, February 24, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Offspring - Huck It (DVD)
The case was definitely used but the DVD was in great condition. The insert was also missing in this DVD which I was dissapointed about but the DVD itself is awesome. This is something every Offspring fan should have. It's not very long at all but it portrays their lifestyle's and I love that.

I liked the Offspring's "Americana" Video so much that I wore it out playing it so much. So with my replacement "Americana" video, I bought "Huck It." It is nothing like "Americana." "Huck It" is overproduced with emphasis on special graphics and animation and very little on content or flow. It also did not have any of the entertaining high jinx of "Americana" like the "Beer Situation" or the guy the packs a full tin of chew. It also had very few extreme sports segments. "Huck It" used too many camera filters and distortions when showing the concert at the 13th floor in Santa Barbara. Greg K's golfing indoors segment was not interesting and anti-climactic. Noodles' acoustic segment in the middle of the video was too long and did not flow well. All in all, I'm glad I bought "Huck It" because I am a big Offspring fan, but I think it is a cheap imitation of "Americana" that was overproduced with very little content. Fire the director, producer, and editor and bring back the team that brought us "Americana." Or hire me! Also, its only 36 minutes.

2.0 out of 5 stars SHORT AND ANNOYING!, September 9, 2002
By
This review is from: The Offspring - Huck It (DVD)
This is not a dvd you can watch over. The first 5 minutes is a replyay of a guy jumping off a pole and it goes over and over. Some of the skateboarding is cool but nothing great. The only cool things are the 2 live tracks from the rain festival which are awsome and the bonus live preformance of kids arnt alright. Staring at the sun live and lapd live are annoying, tiny club venue which is neat but there is heaps of stupid video effects going on distorting nearly all the picture. The dvd is onyl about 30 minutes long not including the cridits. And you get very sick of it quickly.

The only funny thing is in meet the crew bonus feature when daneil johns from silverchair makes out with one of the offsprings roadie guys.

Anyway dont buy this dvd, it sucks ass apart from about 6 minutes of decent live footlage.

2.0 out of 5 stars PISH!, June 7, 2001
This review is from: The Offspring - Huck It (DVD)
This is dumb. Everything on this CD is on the Conspircy of One CD. And look at the price. Thats how much the CD costs. So if you have a computer with quality graphics then just buy consircy of one and get all this stuff plus a good album.
