Huck Finn IS hate, not an antidote to it.,
This review is from: Huckleberry Finn: Antidote to Hate (Paperback)
This book is an absurd attempt to spin a racist "classic" into an "antidote" for hate. Anyone who has studied the controversy surrounding the use of Huck Finn in the classroom is aware that in multiracial settings, the novel raises hate, not solves it. While it can be carefully taught to be seen as the example of underlying racism that it is, Huck Finn is more like the poison than the antidote.
