Suprema Rules Supreme, April 24, 2004
This is a terrific sprayer for kitchen gardens or lawn maintenance. The back straps are padded and adjustable for comfort, the spray wand is brass for durability, and the trigger swivels for comfortable spraying. It comes with a strainer to prevent grass cuttings and other foreign objects getting into the tank when you fill it. It can be adapted for right or left handed spraying comfort, and the tank is translucent, so you can see the level of the liquid inside. It requires no tools to set up or clean, and can be used for spraying insecticides, weedicides or plant food. The big advantage of the Hudson Suprema is that unlike other back pack sprayers, you don't have to keep pumping the handle while spraying. A few pumps give you enough pressure to spray quite a large area before pumping again. There are other benefits of this sprayer, such as the non kinking hose and the availability of a spare parts replacement kit. One should also note the detailed instructions that come with it, and the ten year warranty period. One of the best back pack sprayers on the market. Amanda Richards

This is garbage!, August 1, 2011
This review is from: Hudson 63184 Suprema Bak-Pak 4 Gallon Sprayer Poly (Lawn & Patio)
I'm yet another victim of the chemicals pouring down the back from this poorly sealed sprayer. I though at first I didn't close the cap properly, or that maybe I caused spillage as I had to lean forward supporting the backpack's weight on my back to pull the cumbersome straps into place, but it's just poor design causing the leakage. The pump stopped working the first use, I took it apart, reassembled, and it stopped again halfway through being emptied. The entire unit tips to the side toward the pump arm and wobbles back and forth. Feels really unstable and takes too much work. A waste of money!

Problems from the get go., July 13, 2011
This review is from: Hudson 63184 Suprema Bak-Pak 4 Gallon Sprayer Poly (Lawn & Patio)
This is what I sent direct to the company with no answer back..Poured toxic chemicals down my back via the filler cap..No oring to seal the Filler cap?? also metal clamp to hold wand to rubber hose was squirting in my eyes..Had safety glasses on. Needed to put a hose clamp above the factory metal crimp clamp.. Have to get this thing sent back. To: ladybug@hdhudson.com Subject: Very upset customer I just received my new Model# 63184 purchase from Amazon.com. Put unit together according to the newspaper instructions. I happily filled my back pack filled with my chemicals just added with water, got outside to use the poison Ivy Killer and when I squeezed the handle for spray I got it, In My eyes and out the shoot. Luckily I had safety glasses on. The factory clamp on the rubber hose to the bottom of the metal wand was on, but not sealing properly I then found a hose clamp to clamp up higher to prevent leakage. After this episode I put the pack on again and my back instantly was soaked. The Poison was being poured down my back and trousers because there is no complete seal on the top of the fill station.. Is the filter suppose to be removed first... My normal ethics went south after not trying it with water first. I shouldn't have to. How can you help me on this Product that was not safely put together and checked. Very unhappy camper Alan alob4u@hotmail.com
