Product Description

Our SRAM-compatible Hudz address the slippery rounded profiles on the top and bottom of the SRAM Double Tap levers and square-off the profile to both sides of the bottom of the lever body as well as the top lateral side (i.e. the right side on the right-hand lever) to provide more grip and reduce hand and arm fatigue. Our Original Enhancement Brake Hoods started it all. The goal was simple - to mimic the firmness and texture of popular OE hoods while creating a more ergonomic shape. And since we were making these new hoods, we figured that offering them in a range of colors would be a good idea as well. SoftGrip - the name pretty much says it all - these are 25% softer and provide 80% more grip than our Original Enhancement Brake Hoods. They can serve as a way to help tame the pounding of rough roads or as the ultimate enhancement for a cyclocross bike. This is a great upgrade to your OEM hoods. The hoods feel good in the hands. I bought the softer hoods and they are in fact very comfortable. I wouldnt say they are life changing, but if you're looking to add some bling to your bike or replace worn oem hood covers then this is a great alternative. They were pretty easy to install as well. I have the white and it gets a little dirty but cleans up fairly easy with some mild soap and water. The only thing this product could do better is make me stronger on the climbs, faster in the sprints and get better gas mileage in my car :-/. Other than that, I would recommend these to a friend :)
