My son loves this bike!,

After looking online and in stores we got this bike for our 4 year old son. What attracted me to it was that it was his favorite color, orange. A lot of the bikes for his age group have a character on it and I didn't want that for him. This bike is very easy to assemble, only had to put on 5 pieces. I would not however put the wheel on before putting the handle bars on like the instructions say but that is just me. This bike is a little big for him right now but it will last him for a few years before having to purchase a new one for him. He was excited the second it was deliverd and couldn't wait to get on it and go for a ride.

Purchased this for our 5-year old who just learned to ride on two wheels a couple of weeks back.I'm impressed with the build quality of this bike. It feels well made and sturdy, and it's also his favorite color....Orange. It only took about 15-20 minutes for assembly and the price was certainly right. I also installed a $6.00 kickstand that was purchased at our local ACE hardware store. I don't think you'll be disappointed with this purchase. And, as always, Amazon does an amazing job!

We just got this bike for my son who just turned 5. He is not too tall, neither is this bike, so unlike others he could touch the ground with the seat in the lowest position and he rides it smoothly. The coloring is nice, and it was just what I wanted with no cartoon characters on it.My husband put it together, it took him about 15-20 minutes. He had a 12 inch Huffy before this one that we were also happy with

Great bike. My son loves it. I don't think there is anything lacking between this and other more expensive bikes.

I don't like writing bad reviews, especially when so many others have had good things to say about this bike. I'm deeply disappointed in this bike and the quality of workmanship on it. I bought this bike as a Christmas gift along with another different one for my two boys. Like another reviewer wrote the front forks were too close together for the wheel to fit. I've always worked on my own bikes so this is not simply a mistake on my part, the forks were just too narrow for the wheel to go on. Since we had another bike for an example and we went to a local store to buy a replacement to this one the only thing I can say is it looks like the front fork attachments were welded on wrong, too close to the inside of the fork post. These ones were welded on right on the inside edge of the fork posts while our other two bikes the attachments are welded on to the center or middle of the post. As I was breaking back down the bike for shipping back I also noticed that the wheels looks slightly "off" and that's when I noticed that the wire spokes had been bent around each other. Wire spokes are supposed to be straight, again using the other bikes as a comparison I realized that whoever had built the wheels didn't know how to do it.Final note, we bought two bikes from Amazon and both needed to be returned due to workmanship or damage which also caused us not to have the bikes in time for Christmas. At this point I don't recommend buying bikes from Amazon as it seems to be a higher percentage defect rate and prices at local stores such as Walmart are equal and you can see the finished working product, not to mention no, assembly required.

Great bike for a 4-6 year old,

PROS: If you are looking for a bike for a 4-6 year old, this is a good choice. It offers very solid construction and extreme ease of assembly. Within 10 minutes of opening the box, I had the bike setup. The bike rides well, which is all you can ask of a 16 inch bike for a preschooler. My son loves it.CONS: 1)Does not include reflectors. 2) The included instructions are confusing since they refer to parts on other Huffy models. It would behoove Huffy to use a single instruction manual for each bike rather than one instruction manual for all of their bikes (e.g. - refers to a double gooseneck handleback assembly, when this bike has none). That said, you will be able to set it up even without the instruction booklet.

I purchased this bike for my 4-year-old boy. He LOVES it! It was easy for my husband to assemble and it's a sturdy little bike. The 16" is just the right size for my son, with room for him to grow. He loves the orange and blue, and I love that it's not covered in Disney characters. I would recommend this bike for anyone looking for a first bike for their 3- to 5- year old.

This is a pretty good bike. It rides well and is fun for my five-year-old. It's just the right size. My husband said it wasn't difficult to put together. The one complaint we have is the training wheels. They don't touch the ground evenly on both sides so he tends to rock back and forth quite a bit and has wiped out several times going around corners in areas where he never crashed on his littler bike with more stable training wheels.

Purchased the bike for my four year old son. He had pretty much out grown the 12" bike that he had. He hop write on it and was zooming away chasing after his older brother. This bike very easy to assemble. I had it all together in about 20 minutes. Quality is very good. I would recommend to others. My son should get a few years of good use out of it.

The bike looks like it does in these pictures on Amazon. Unfortunately, the front fork (the metal "Y" that holds the front wheel), was bent. You have to assemble the bike on arrival, and there was no way the front wheel could fit in its place. Probably happened during shipping. I emailed the company a couple days ago through the Amazon feedback system; have not had an answer from them yet, but am still hopeful.
