I like mine, It is still new, therefore the jury is still out on it, but, it rides pretty smooth. I would have to agree with the other commenter, because it does seem a little slow on pavement.

bought it for the front disk break and the low price. it looks like a great bike, and the suspension works great too, but for an aluminum frame it felt much heavier than my previous steel frame huffy: [...]

the tire on this bike has deep treads that would be great for off-road, but feels extremely slow on flat pavements.
maybe if i find some smoother tires to replace it with, it'll ride much faster

other minor issues include overly long break cable and unaligned breaks. but if you know anything about bikes that should be easy fix.

one problem i find is the kickstand, it's held in place by the bolt on rear wheel, and after couple days of using the kickstand, you start to loosen that bolt, and need to retighten it

overall, minor issues, great bike for the price ($130)

Bought this bike for my son 2 weeks ago. He said he didn't want to listen to the "1 star", and wanted to buy it anyway. We both were very impressed with the quality of this bike. We have been around to a lot of "department stores". At $130 this bike is just as good as any of the department store bikes in the $200 range.

This item was by far the worst bike i have ever bought. I bought this for my 13 yr old son for his birthday. Within a week of receiving the bike, the left peddle and the bar that the peddle screws into were both stripped. I contacted the company that I bought the bike from and they offered me Huffy's contact information. Huffy sent me a new peddle no questions asked. Once it arrived, I called Huffy again because they did not include the bar. Huffy sent out the bar to me no questions asked again. However, once the bar arrived, we were unable to change the parts. We had to take the parts to a neighborhood bicycle shop to have them installed because as it turns out, you need a special tool to be able to take that bar on and off. While at the bike shop, we were instructed that the bearings in the rear tire were shot. The tire indeed did have a bad wobble that you were not expect from a bike less then a month old. This would cost $60-70 for them to repair. We did not have them repair it, figuring to once again call Huffy. They did install the new bar and peddle for $16. Within a week, the new peddle had also stripped. At this point I called the bike shop and was told that since they had just replaced the parts, it was most likely another part inside that was causing the problem. They would replace the peddle for me if I wanted but that it was most likely going to happen again. Now in the mean time, my son one peddled the bike to a friends house who's dad noticed that the bike only had one peddle and since he had a spare sitting in his garage, he just replaced it to be nice to my son. However, this peddle also stripped and fell off about a week later, and when it popped off this time, the back tire also blew.Read more ›

The front tire of the bicicle came completely bend. Make sure you assemble before the 60 days return guaranty. I gave it as a gift but was not assemble until 2 days ago, and we found this inherited defect. The rest looks fine
