Bought this bike as a 3rd birthday gift for my son, and bought the matching girl's version for his twin sister. Hence the copied reviews on that product as well. I was somewhat skeptical about it as I spent 15 years in the bicycle business, telling people to avoid buying mass market bikes. I can now say I will confidently tell people they don't need to feel like they need to buy bike shop bikes at this level.

Having built hundreds of 12" kids' bikes over the years, I can honestly say this one went together easier than any $100+ kids' bike I have assembled. I had it put together in roughly 8 minutes and my daughter was riding and loving it soon thereafter. The handlebar pad is a nice touch.

A few notes to be aware of:
You will want to grease the stem and seat post and pedal spindles. This will help if/when you need to make adjustments as they grow.
The training wheels are included but not top-quality (to be expected) you may want to upgrade to a $20 pair from a shop or store with more robust wheels.
Graphics are decent, they are stickers, not transfer decals so you might need to smooth out some edges so they last longer.
Tires are inflated, but you will need to top them off.

Overall, I am more than impressed with this bike and my purchase.

Pros:
Easy to assemble (I did it with one crescent wrench)
Looks great
Adequate packaging to protect it in shipping but not so much that you have trash everywhere when finished

Cons:
Training wheels are not top-quality, but absolutely get the job done.

This is the perfect first bike for my 3 1/2 year old son. It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble (even with young son "helping"..."no, no that's where the seat goes buddy not the handlebars".

My son loves this bike. It has heavy treaded wheels that grip the road solid. I loved it bc it was easy to assemble.

We are very pleased with this purchase. We are getting this bike to teach our grandson to ride the bike. My grandson learned biking with the training wheel attached in a very short time. The price is very good and it is very easy to assemble.

Bought it for my 4 yr old who's bday is next week. I JUST finished assembling it, which was not too bad, as long as you have the right tools (basically just an adjustable wrench). For the price you pay, it's a great buy, I got it for $45, so I'd say I'm ahead of the game. Sure there's lots of places to nit pick on how this bike cuts corners, but keep in mind, for the price you pay it's well worth it. I actually would have spent more on a bike (double or more) because I've got 2 more sons that could use it, but my oldest wanted a "blue" bike, and this was the closest decent one that I could find. I hope it lasts till my other boys can ride it, but if not, I probably wouldn't hesitate buying this same model again!

My 3-year old chose the bike he wanted for his birthday; it just happened to be the same model (different painted theme) as our older son's first bicycle. When we went to put it together, we noticed the spoke on one of the wheels was broken - jutting out.

Luckily, we had a duplicate bike model to take the wheel from and replace the broken one.

All is good now.

The bicycle purchased was a 12" boys bicycle and it came highly rated.

Bike easily assembled, but the chain was extremely tight and made the bike unrideable. Immediately had to go to a bicycle store to have the chain released so it was rideable. Disappointing as it was a birthday present.
