It seems to be a pretty good first bike for my 5 year old. It was real easy to put together and took all of about 15 minutes with just a crescent wrench; since we brought it with us on Christmas vacation and put it together at our CHristmas destination. I just had to put air in the tires before we left because they were flat. The daughter loves it which is the most important part!
