As other reviewers have mentioned, the only real negative about this bike is the packing. The box was tattered when it arrived, and I thought the bike itself was in faily good shape with only a couple of minor scratches. I was wrong.
The bike is of heavy duty construction but, as happened to another reviewer, the back wheel would wobble when my son rode on it. I ordered another one, but the same problem existed. I finally gave up and returned the second one as well, this time for a refund. Too bad, otherwise it would have been a great product. I rated it five stars initially and would change it to one if I could.

Great Bike for the Cost!,

This really is a nice little bike for the cost! It arrived in a very beaten up carton, however no problems were found after we assembled it. The only thing I can recommend to the manufacturer is they get that carton problem solved - it could have easily been damaged by the way it looked upon arrival.

My son was pleased to discover his bike-in-a-box for his birthday, and together we enjoyed the assembly process. However, the let down came when he hopped on for the first time.
The back wheel was bent so badly that i had to take the chain guard off so that the wheel wouldn't rub against it each time the bent area rolled around. But, with the chain expose, he was just asking to get his pant leg wrapped around it and... you can see where i'm going. So... We took it to the bike shop to get the back wheel straightened. When the repairman was inspecting it, he noticed that the front wheel was bent, too. A week after my son's birthday, we got a call that his bike was ready to be picked up. That is a long time for a little man (or for most of us) awaiting his birthday gift. The repairs cost us an additional $24, which brought the overall price up considerably, but... in the end, we got a nice bike. Now he enjoys it a great deal and that makes his mom and me quite happy! Hope this review was helpful.
