Packaged mostly assembled. You will need to install Handle bars, Front wheel, Pedals , and seat. Brake adjustments will be required. Don't get hung up on first pages of instructions go to the back for detailed data on caliper adjustments. It takes a bit of patience but you will need to do it over several times to get it right. From the factory the rear brakes are tight and the shoes rub the front are way too loose and don't grab. Pay close attention to the set screws they adjust distance between the shoe/pad and the wheel. Do that last. Mine came with a Bent Screw for Rear brake shoe adjustment this demonstrates poor quality control. It did NOT happen during shipping. The Bike was Packed very well. Mostly assembled. Pedals are cheap plastic count on buying new ones. The Seat is the worst in History Go buy a another seat or pay the price at the doctor later. You don't have to spend a lot , count on about 30 dollars for the pedals and seat and you got a pretty good bike. Shifts are good. Bike is a bit lighter than I expected. Shocks work well but are probably not really needed. Front wheel Bearing should be a little more free not sure why its so tight that is probably just because its cheap. Over all this bike is worth the $100 to $130 Price range. Great for average rider not a good choice for serious Trail blazing or long haul. If your on a tight budget this is worth the money, At a minimum get a seat pad or a new seat trust me you will need it. Other than that Pretty standard Huffy product.

This bike is everything that I look for in a bicycle. It is a very comfortable ride and the different speeds and settings allow for great traction while taking trails. It is also very easy to assemble. If you are looking for a great value for the money, this is a good balance between options and price fora mountain bike.

I was looking for a bike just to ride a couple miles to get into town and back...not hard core trail riding. Purely a no frills bike, I guess I got what I paid for. The box showed up heavily damaged (reading the previous reviews, someone else also commented on that). There was a feeble attempt to repair the torn box with packing tape that seemed to be post-factory. The threads of the front tire axle were visible through a hole that it created in the cardboard. There was no major damage to the bike itself, except for the rear wheel reflector was broken off (the one that is mounted on the spokes of the wheel and spins around as the bike is moving). I don't plan on riding this bike at night so I didn't mind that too much. The bike comes partially assembled and only the front wheel, handle bar, seat and pedals are to be attached (again, as someone in another review also stated), along with the adjustments to the brakes. So far I was planning on giving the bike 3 stars, it does the job. After riding the two miles or so to town, I get off the bike and a minute or so later the rear wheel blows out. It sounded like a gun shot. I thought it was weird that it blew out after I got off the bike. I spent a couple hours in town and when I got back to the bike, the front tire was fully deflated. Maybe there was a slow leak in that inner tube. Thankfully there was a kind passer-by that gave me and my bike a ride back home. I then threw the bike in the car and drove to where I should have bought the bike...the local bike repair shop. I had to buy two inner tubes and a new rear wheel tire. The bike repairman noticed that the seal where the tire hooks into the frame was torn and the tire is useless. $40 later, in addition to the $110 I already spent, I have a working bike.Read more ›

My original intention was to buy the cheapest possible bike just to bike to work. Simple as that.

However, this bike has caused me more problems in one week than my last bike (a smaller, mountain bike) and it was not worth the pain.

The brakes are hard to adjust; in fact, you have to find the EXACT position and the EXACT brake friction in order for the brake to work. If you tighten it too much, there'll be too much friction on the bike and you won't be able to move at all. However, if you don't tighten it, the brakes won't work at ALL. I had to settle for the brakes to be directly on the tires (touching the frame of the tires) and giving me quite a bit of friction, because only THEN the brakes would work.

The seat is god awful and uncomfortable.

The tires are really poor quality. The inner tube was of really cheap quality and broke within the first week.

Here's the good news though. If you really desperately need a bike, this will would do. In fact, the appearance is overall very nice. This would make an excellent birthday present, just not for anyone who needs a bike for serious mountain biking, or for transportation. But if you want to take a stroll next to your home, this bike will do. Definitely not meant for long distances.

Again, I always want to make the smarter decision and spend my money wisely, but in the end, it is much worthwhile to invest in a better bike that will last a longer amount of time.

Not sure I expected much from a online bike for $100, but even with low expectations I was completely not satisfied for several reasons. First, I was warned by the other reviews, but the packaging looked like it survived a war with many holes - plus it smelled of fire or something not pleasant. Second, the quality wasn't that great, everything felt cheap. Third, the handlebar/brakes are just off, perhaps they were installed upside down and I would need to go to a shop to fix it (I have experience putting bikes together), which defeats the purpose of buying online. Fourth, the brakes do not appear to adjust properly despite repeated attempts.

The biggest problem of course is that since it is a bike, it makes it a pain to return for a refund.
