Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
There are ~50 blank pages out of the 170 or so in this little pamphlet of a book. The non-blank pages are double spaced paragraphs with triple spaces in between. It looks like the kind of paper perhaps submitted by one of Ms. Green's former classroom students hoping to get a "A" based on weight. Unfortunately, the content has no weight as it is nothing but fluff.

Here's a quote: "Let's jump right in and get started..." That quote is from page 44! Prior to p. 44 there is lots of fluffy, vacuous history and mutually promoting testimonials (i.e. network affiliate 'ads'). What comes after page 44? Lots more white space and fluffy content that amounts to a to-do list written on the back of a cocktail napkin with little to no actionable content. The "50 ways" to market your business average ~6 paragraphs stretched, through wide spacing, to 1.2 to 1.5 pages in length each.

We stumbled across this book and were seduced by the combination of the promise of an step-by-step action orientation, the strong 5 star reviews, and the affordable price. The trap is that the reviewers are basically mutually-promoting affiliates (i.e. they are not truly independent reviews). Had we taken the time to go to the sites of the reviewers, we would never have bought this book. Some of the reviewers are listed on the back cover. Check out MonthlyMentor.com, JeannetteCates.com or PatObryan.com for examples and judge for yourself.

We would have written to the author asking for a refund, but thought that the public deserved a warning instead: BEWARE, DON'T BUY EMPTY AIR.

By the way, we fully expect that this review will be poorly reviewed as the author's affiliates pile on in an attempt to discredit it. This will be just another sign of what is wrong with this book. We highly recommend that you save your money and stay away. There are plenty of much better books in Amazon's wonderful online marketplace.

Connie Green is a natural born teacher. She has a heart for helping others. I found her book,"Huge Profits With A Tiny List: 50 Ways To Use Relationship Marketing To Increase Your Bottom Line", full of useful information and inspiration. Ms. Green left her job as an elementary school teacher in 2005 and has built a very successful Internet business. I really enjoyed reading about her early experiences as an Internet marketer. She explained that the first year was difficult and she didn't make very much money. She invested in workshops, classes, seminars and mentoring programs to sharpen her skills. She worked VERY hard at making her business a success. She is now reaping the rewards of this hard work and reaching out to help others.
"Huge Profits With A Tiny List" provides 50 different strategies to improve your online business with an email list of prospects. These are people who have shown an interest in your product and given you permission to market to them via email. The emphasis is always building relationships, not selling products. Ms. Green states that in the early days of her business, she would call a customer on the telephone and visit with them after they purchased one of her information products. This was an excellent way to really get to know her prospects and learn how to better serve them.

This is such a great book . It really gave me a feeling of hope and being understood . The way Connie writes is reassuring and encouraging and helped me realize that I was not the only person struggling to navigate the internet jungle. The way the options were listed out were really clear and helped me get a clear idea of which three areas I could best focus on first. Thank you Connie.I also really liked the conversational style you right in
I made me feel supported and optimistic that I can develop my list and message too.

Connie is an author who seems like someone I would enjoy having as a friend and mentor. I enjoy her story telling type of writing. Actually, I own this book in soft cover and have read it at least 3 times over the last 3 years. Her 50 suggestions are wise and practical and have been proven by her many years of experience in affiliate marketing. She is a very good motivator. Do yourself a favor and consider reading her other books as well.

This is a classic work in Internet Marketing circles & I am so glad I picked it up a while back. Connie Ragen Green has proved she can do it & not just write about it. It is encouraging to know that from small beginnings it is possible to build a worthwhile business and it is easy to learn from someone who has been there and done that

This book was one of the first I bought and read when beginning an online business. It was encouraging to know I didn't have to have a HUGE list to make HUGE profits. Several years have passed, but I still go back and read it once in a while. Connie is an inspiration!

More About the Author

Connie Ragen Green has been online since the end of 2005. A former classroom teacher and real estate broker/residential appraiser, she left it all behind in search of a way to make a living from her home computer doing something she loved.

After a disappointing first year, where she made almost no money and found the technology to be more than she had bargained for, Connie finally put the pieces of the puzzle together and began to earn money through affiliate marketing.

She was determined to help others get started online more easily, and began teaching new online entrepreneurs starting in 2007. She continues to teach regularly, offering both webinar and teleseminar trainings several times each month.

In addition to these trainings, Connie has more than thirty products of her own. She believes that having both your own products and courses to promote, as well as affiliate products, makes for the best possible online business.

Connie was awarded the coveted 'Better Your Best' grand prize by Armand Morin at the Big Seminar in November of 2009. This prize included $25,000 in cash, as well as the opportunity to serve as the Ambassador for the prestigious AM2 program for online marketers.
