Detailed Description
Zabutons are rectangular cushions traditionally used under a meditation cushion or bench to pad knees, feet and ankles, but they're also a versatile yoga prop. Laid flat, it's a perfect shoulderstand pad and folded, it can be used as a bolster. Our zabuton is filled with a generous two inches of cotton batting secured by it's tufted muslin cover. The cotton outer cover is removable for laundering. The zabuton comes with a sturdy harness that holds it in a bolster shape, and provides a handle and shoulder strap for carrying.

I have several zabutons. IMHO, this one from Hugger Mugger is superior to the others I purchased (which were cheaper). I got my first Hugger Mugger zabuton 4 years ago. I have used it with meditation pillow on top, folded in in half as a prop too many times to count, used it as a pad for shoulderstand as well as other non-yoga purposes. It is still in very good condition! The loft is good and it is as supportive today as it was 4 years ago. I finally gave away my other (cheaper) zabutons and got another Hugger Mugger. It was worth the extra money. It doesn't hurt that it has a lifetime warranty! BTW, on two occasions, I was able to go to the Hugger Mugger warehouse. I was able to see many of their products. They are all excellent!

The firmness and support of this zabuton is better than any I have ever used. I also wanted to make sure it was made in the USA, so after calling the company's headquarters, I can even recommend Hugger Mugger's customer service department. They put me on hold and quickly returned to tell me that not only was it manufactured in the USA, but also made of all USA materials. Due to labor and political unfairnesses, I will only buy products made in certain ways and from certain places. I would also say that even though its only been a number of weeks since I started using it, the product is so well made, it will retain its support and hold-up to alot of daily use for many years to come. Its well worth the extra investment!
