These are great for public restroom changes. I hated putting my changing pad down on a dirty changing table and then right back in my diaper bag. They are big, soft and thick. I would definitely recommend carrying one in your bag for when you need to change at a yucky place and using a regular pad for all others.

These are great for on the go changing, but also for protecting the bassinet sheets!!! My son seems to spit up quite a bit, and by keeping the disposable changing pad over the bassinet mattress (it tucks in on the sides so it won't wad up and ever cause a choking hazard) I am saved from having to wash his bassinet sheets on a daily basis!

I actually e-mailed Huggies about this product and they have indeed discontinued the 4 pack size. They still sell the 8 pack but those are much smaller and don't work as well for my needs. Recommendation - check your local "closeout" store - I did and found a TON of these. I bought enough to get me through the time my son will be in his bassinet, and then some! Or buy them here on Babies R Us.com before they sell out! This product is GREAT!!

these are great to use as liners anywhere out of the house-- to protect from ruining aunt doreenes couch and to keep the germs separated at the buybuybaby changing station. I like the thicker changing pads (that are more expensive) to use to line my changing table at home for multiple uses

These are fantastic and they seem to have been discontinued. Huggies now sells smaller ones (but twice as many per pack) that don't work nearly as well if your baby is older than 6 weeks. The old ones are 20X30, and the new ones are significantly smaller.

I know they advertise this product as travel changing mats, but I have found them to be extremely useful at home as well. Before I found these disposable mats, I was constantly washing our fabric changing pad cover after each mid diaper change accident (which was sometimes explosive!). With everything else you are busy taking care of during the first month or two, it saves SO much time to just dispose of these mats if they get dirty and line the changing pad with a new one. Highly recommended!
One side note, I've noticed recently that the stores are carrying a smaller size of these mats (to compensate they give you 8 instead of 4). I much prefer the larger size since they can cover the entire table.
