5.0 out of 5 stars 8 year old son who has accidents
I have twin 8 year old kids (one boy, one girl), but they are different as night and day. My daughter is 3 inches taller then her brother and outweighs him by 20 lbs. She also has never had an accident since she was potty trained as a toddler. My son however, does have accidents at night. 3.0 out of 5 stars not for side sleepers
My 10 year old special needs son tried these because they looked more like big boy underewear than the pull ups. Unfortunately, there is no protection on the sides and he leaked during the night. These may be OK for day wear, but were useless at night.

I have twin 8 year old kids (one boy, one girl), but they are different as night and day. My daughter is 3 inches taller then her brother and outweighs him by 20 lbs. She also has never had an accident since she was potty trained as a toddler. My son however, does have accidents at night. He is such a heavy sleeper that even when he has wet himself at night and he wasn't wearing a GoodNite, he doesn't even notice he is sleeping in a soaking wet bed.

He hated wearing pull-ups because they resembled diapers too much, but still needed something to wear at night. He hated that his twin sister didn't need to wear anything like that to bed, but that he did. GoodNites were the perfect solution. They look like little boys boxers and he LOVES them. He doesn't feel like a "baby wearing a diaper" when he wears them (his words), but more like a big boy because his daddy wears boxers too. He seems almost proud to wear them because they are so much like boxers.

They are well made and don't fall apart like some kinds do as the kids are trying to put them on. They will hold a large amount of liquid too (we have never once had any leaking).

They are a quality product and make my son fell like a big boy instead of a baby when it's time to put pj's on at bed time.

I love these boxers. My grandson has had a hard time at night and has not been able to not wet the bed. He hates pull-ups because he thinks they are for babies. He loves the boxes and fills like he is a big boy wearing them. I think they have stopped making these because I can't find them anywhere now. Hopefully he will not need them much longer. I would highly recommend these if your son has the same problem.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, September 10, 2011

These do a good job helping keep the sheets dry (I'd rate that part at least a 4 out of 5). Best part of these are that they look like boxers or shorts, so my 9 year old - who still sometimes wets the bed - isn't as embarassed wearing them. They seem comofortable for him as well. Overall, would highly recommend (I can't spell, but it's a good product!).

love the goodnights boxers. I have a five year old night time bed wetter. He hates the pull ups that look like diapers but I don't get any problem with the goodnights boxers. GREAT PRODUCT

These are kind of pricey, no matter where you buy them. But my son still has bed wetting issues, and he prefers these over pullups.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for making bigger kids feel good, December 11, 2010
This review is from: Huggies GoodNites Boxers, Boys, Small/Medium, 13 Count (Pack of 4) (Health and Beauty)
My 4-yr-old son is having problems with potty training at night. He is too embarrased to wear regular pullups because they are "for babies". These boxers make him feel like a big boy and he doesn't fight us to wear them every night. The only drawback is the price. We paid 60 bucks for a pack of 4 packages. They are expensive and no stores around us carry them. None. I am so glad to see them on sale here!!! We will use them until he is 100% potty trained.

My son is 5 and still wets the bed at night. He wakes up every morning with the blue outer portion of these boxers (one side)just soaking wet! The Underjams are the only way to go!!

My son (6 years) loves the idea of these. So, I thought we'll make his nights a little nicer. But, they just didn't work for him. He is a deep sleeper and these leaked every night. It was so bad that I went back to the underjams and didn't finish using the rest of the 2 packages we bought. Maybe they are better for a larger kid? He is just under 60 pounds.

2.0 out of 5 stars 50/50 chance, April 18, 2010
I thought my son would like them better because they were more like big boy underwear. However, I have found that they are not as reliable as the regular shaped. If my son doesn't wake up right away after using the bathroom they will leak. If he wakes up soon enough we are fine if not the bed is soaked. I will be going back to the regular shaped product.
