5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT PRODUCT
My eight-year-old son still wets the bed and Goodnites have really helped him gain some much needed confidence. The product is specifically designed for boys and offers key protection where it is most needed. Saves midnight sheet changes and allows your child to wake up in a dry bed. Great for sleepover and long trips.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disliking the NEW Underwear-like Goodnites
We have used Goodnites for over 2 years with an occasional leak or night time wetting issue. Our latest package is the "new softer, brief like" underwear style. What a disappointment! We have had an issue every night since this package has been opened. I'm wondering who they tested these on! My poor little guy is devastated and we are frustrated as we have to get up...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for older, special needs child., May 5, 2009

Our special needs grandson is 15 and is unable to be potty-trained so far. Regular adult diapers are too large and not absorbent enough, but Goodnights continue to meet his needs during the day and also at night. Don't know what we'd do without them.

My mother recommended these for my autistic son when he started to outgrow the largest Pampers Cruisers at 22 months. They are a lifesaver. At 55-pounds they fit perfectly with no leaks ever.

4.0 out of 5 stars Should make a smaller size but it works really well, March 18, 2006

My son is 29 months old. The regular diapers (yes, I have tried them all) would leak if I don't at least change him once at night. Although these Goodnites S/M are a little too big for him, they work! I have been using them for a week now and so far there is no leak! It saves me the 1:00 a.m. changing; not only my son has a better night sleep, so have I.

I give it 4 stars because these don't come with cute colorful cartoon characters. My son would always ask for his Buzz Lightyear or Lion King diapers when I try putting these on him. It would be 5-star if Nemo (or whatever) is on the diaper so I would not need to spend 5 minutes nightly negotiating to put it on.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disliking the NEW Underwear-like Goodnites, April 2, 2010
We have used Goodnites for over 2 years with an occasional leak or night time wetting issue. Our latest package is the "new softer, brief like" underwear style. What a disappointment! We have had an issue every night since this package has been opened. I'm wondering who they tested these on! My poor little guy is devastated and we are frustrated as we have to get up and change sheets each night....and do the washing all the next day. I can't express my frustration since we had tried other competitor's brands and this was the only one that seemed to work. I will be contacting the company and hope you do the same if you find the same problems we are.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for large toddlers, September 17, 2010

These helped prevent overnight leak throughs for my son, who is large for his age. At 2 1/2, he is tall and lean and still well over 40 pounds. This makes it near impossible to find a diaper that fits a large child well enough and can hold a night's worth of pee without soaking through. The Goodnites do the job. They weigh about 80 pounds by the time he wakes up, but prevent leakage during the night :)

One thing we noted is that you may have to pull them up fairly high depending on how well the leg bands fit to the child's thighs. Otherwise, leakage may occur through the leg holes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for 6YO who can't stay dry at night, March 3, 2010
By
My typically developing 6 year old, approx. 50 lb. son has never been able to stay dry at night. He is a sound sleeper, has a small bladder, doesn't get the signal that he needs to go. The pediatrician is not ready to try any other interventions (medicine, alarm, etc...) so these have been a lifesaver. He is able to wear one every night, and can wear one without anyone noticing if he is at a sleepover. He can even remove them himself in the morning, usually by tearing the sides. We have been through heavy wetting phases where they have leaked a little bit, not enough to wake him in the night. It seems that Diaper Doublers are no longer made, but I have found that Depends makes a product called Boost (Depend BOOST Inserts - Diaper Liners - Booster Pads - Doublers, Pack/20 Pads) that helps. It is like a maxi-pad without the plastic liner. We don't have to use them all the time, only occassionally. I believe the reason for the leakage is he exceeds the GoodNights' capacity. I don't think it is a design flaw. These seem to fit him better and are much more absorbent than Pull-Ups (which I think must be made with a lower capacity for the specific purpose of potty training).

5.0 out of 5 stars Life Savers!, January 16, 2010
Like all products in this nature they can get costly since the packages are so little. I am using these on a child that is no where near to being potty trained so we go throught a lot of them since they are being used instead of diapers. Not all children will be potty trained before they out grow size 6 diapers. Pampers Cruisers has size 7 but they are not bigger than a Huggies size 6. My child always would say his diaper was tight. He looked like he was wearing bikini underwear. Some kids are just larger kids but are still babies. It is nice to see that other parents here have let it be known that as early as 22 months on that their babies have grown out of diapers as well as my baby. Hopefully he will start using the potty soon because these will kill my budget. I know people have said that store brands leak. Well today I was in a local market and looked in the quick sale/ reduced basket. I found a pack of the "Good Nites" that were Kroger brand and were clearing for 2.99. I bought them. When I turned the package over and compared them to the "Good Nites" they are made by the same company. I have always heard that companies do this. They will have other brand names under their brand. The only difference were the Kroger brand were plain which was fine with me. They were the same quality. SO, please don't discount store brands unless you know for sure they don't work for you. Chance are they come from the same manufacture. Walmart and Target Infant formula comes from the same company just labled differently.

I bought these for my 41lb 3yr old who was a looking a little cramped in the pull ups. He didn't protest that Lightening McQueen wasn't on them, or that they went higher on his tummy. He's not a big wetter at night, but they do get tested from time to time. He's been happy with them from a comfort standpoint, I've been happy that they don't leak and aren't so tight. I would recommend!

I would highly recomend these for any family with boys who have a hard time staying dry overnight. We have tried them all and these are the only ones I've found that work all night without leaking EVERY time. Never had a problem...plus they're not hard and crackly like some of the others.
