New Design Leaks - Don't Waste Your Money!,
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Huggies Overnite Diapers, Step 3, 72 Count (Health and Beauty)
I have been a long time user of Huggies Overnites with both my children & very happy to have a night time diaper that kept baby dry, until my most recent shipment. The design of the diaper had changed, it now has a blue lining which used to be white and much much thinner then the past diaper. My child used to sleep soundly through the night until these diapers. He now wakes up every night soaked in urine. The most shocking part of it all is Huggies had the nerve to increase the price and give you less diapers that are so cheap and no longer do the job of keeping baby dry. I need to find a new brand of night time diapers.

Mother of 10 month old,

What happened??!!! I discovered Huggies Overnight diapers with my first little one 4.5 years ago and I became a loyal customer after our first use when she slept through the night. I have been using them now with my second little one and was happy with them until this last shipment. When the new box arrived we noticed they had changed: My 4.5 year old was pleased the print had changed from Mickey Mouse to Winnie the Pooh. I noticed they felt much cheaper -- thinner and lacking the sturdiness of the originals. And indeed they are much cheaper. We are 3 for 3 on night time leaking. This means she wakes early in the morning, and I'm tired and doing extra loads of laundry to keep up with the wet PJs, sheets and blankets. I'm taking these off my Amazon Subscribe & Save list and calling Huggies (Kimberly Clark) tomorrow 1-800-665-9773. I suggest you consider doing the same.

When I was putting my size 2 baby into the size 3 overnights they did great for a few months. They came to her armpits when I pulled them forward for my belly sleepier. Now I have my size 3 baby in a 4 and she is waking up wet through all layers and even her sheets. Pampers and FP were worse but I really wish they would go back and redesign these. On the right track but obviously there is a need!! I would take a thicker diaper in a heartbeat to not have to have a wet baby in the morning.I will also add my review for sheets that are a lifesaver for heavy-wetters and pukers still in cribs. Clouds and Stars zip-top sheets should be a staple in every house with a crib! THey are the best. You need only one starter set with the main part that holds the mattress and a top sheet then one or two extra top sheets. No more taking the bumper or breathable bumper off, no more lifting the mattress...they are the best. I do a mattress pad, a waterproof pad, then these sheets. When she wakes wet we zip off the top sheet, change the waterproof pad, and zip on a new topsheet. Two minutes tops!! Enjoy this secret, so glad I had a good friend steer me toward them despite the price (more affordable on Amazon but they will last through toddlerhood/toddlerbeds). Can we get them in a King??
