5.0 out of 5 stars Love them!
I love these pullups. I haven't had any problems with leaks or overflow. My son is getting used to pulling them up and when he is successful, we are going to start the potty training. I love the side sticky's that make changing on the go a convenience instead of a hassle.

2.0 out of 5 stars Thinner and less absorbent than Learning Design Pull-Ups
We have been using the Learning Design Pull-Ups, and I decided to give these a shot in hopes they would speed my stubborn boy along a bit faster into the land of the potty trained. Unfortunately, we did not fare well with these Pull-Ups.

We have been using the Learning Design Pull-Ups, and I decided to give these a shot in hopes they would speed my stubborn boy along a bit faster into the land of the potty trained. Unfortunately, we did not fare well with these Pull-Ups.

First, the "cool alert" feature didn't work. At least, it did not bother my son when he was wet; he said he didn't notice anything different. (Then again, having a wet diaper has never fazed the boy. If your son is more sensitive, these might work great for him.)

Second, and more important, they are noticeably thinner than the Learning Design style. My son had leaks quite often - something that only happens with the Learning Design style after sleeping in combined with too much water at bedtime.

I am giving two stars for the terrible absorbency, and not for the questionable cool alerts feature, as the efficacy of that is highly subjective.

3.0 out of 5 stars These were ok, but seemed to run small and thin, September 29, 2010

The 'cool alert' did seem to help my son feel the wetness and announce it to be changed, but not necessarily to sit on the potty--just to use more pull ups. They also seem to run small compared to the regular pull ups, and are a bitter thinner too. For this price, it's a not a great value compared to the regular pull ups or even easy ups for that matter.

We've tried using pull-ups with my 2 1/2-year son since he's obsessed with Cars and also the "cool alert" feature seemed nice. I didn't see the latter bothering him at all (it's supposed to make them feel the urge to remove the diaper/go potty), but my son is not the best preschooler to look at when talking about potty training.

So my major complaint (and the reason why I'm using the Pampers' training pants) was that the diaper was leaking from the top (front) when he was asleep so every morning his pj's were wet. I double-checked with a friend who has a similar aged daughter and she experienced the same with her (so it's not a boys-only thing).

I give it a 3 for the nice velcro closures it has on the sides, allowing you to remove a dirty pull-up as you'd do with regular diapers and also neatly "pack" it before throwing it away.

These worked great for our oldest child who was potty trained by 2 but was still wetting the bed. After a few nights of these, that stopped completely. We finished the pack and never had to buy another one! I'm back for more as we'll be potty training our second son soon. I hope they're as effective for him! I'll update when I find out. And then come back when it's our baby girl's turn.

3.0 out of 5 stars Mixed reviews, March 4, 2011

I love the Pull-Ups over other brands, especially the pull apart sides, but was disappointed in the "Cool Alert" aspect. The cool alert has no impact on my son at all. He actually tends to not use the potty MORE when wearing these. Not only does the cooling effect not encourage potty training-but I think my son actually LIKES it. Good idea-may work for others, but unless they are on sale-not worth the extra few dollars from the regular ones.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cute and No Leaks, January 27, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These diapers are very cute, and we have had no leaks. Our last diapers were Pampers, and they didn't leak - they exploded. I had three different diapers from three different boxes literally explode in the middle of the night getting these crystals all over my son that caused horrible rashes. We are very happy with the Pull-Ups brand and my son seems to really like how they fit.

1.0 out of 5 stars These Absorb About as Much as Underwear, January 20, 2012
If I could have given this product a lower review, I would have. I have been using these for almost a week now and only during during the night. My son is fully potty trained during the day but hasn't mastered the overnight part quite yet so we have had him use pull-ups while he sleeps. We only have a problem with the Cool Alert-- he has leaked through these and wet the bed every night he has worn one. This was never an issue with other pull-up types so I started to monitor his water intake between dinner and bed time to see if it was our routine rather than the product. This made no difference and he has continued to leak the past 2 nights. I doubt, with a handful missing from the box, that any store will accept a return. But the money spent on the product and the hassle of doing giant loads of laundry for wet bedding has left me one unhappy mama. I honestly can't rate this product low enough.

4.0 out of 5 stars Leaked at night, January 18, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Our son is 3 years old, and we didn't want to keep putting diapers on him at night. So I bought these, thinking he could get them up and down himself if he needed to use the bathroom. While they are similar in design to underwear, they just do not hold pee like a pampers diaper does. He adored having Lightning McQueen on them, and they do fit like underwear. But to be honest the sides tend to tear so easily that I'm not sure he would be able to get them on and off himself without having to change pull-ups. I know a lot of people have success with them, so I gave 4 stars. But when we're done with this package we are going back to diapers at night because of the leakage problem. I'm tired of changing sheets every morning!

Ordered these for my son who was currently potty training. The diapers were just hard to deal with. I loved how these show if they peed or not. Great price.
