The Hughes HSYS-E1132 combo system offers speed and onscreen functionality by using embedded 128-bit Intel microprocessor technology. This system includes a round, 18-inch DirecTV dish antenna and a dual-output LNB, which enables you to upgrade to a second-room receiver.
The compact, digital receiver offers plan-ahead viewing, preselected programming up to 72 hours in advance, 32-event scheduling, a point-and-click pulldown menu, advanced self-tests, four favorite channel lists, and nearly unlimited channels.
Without missing a minute of television viewing, the online guide lets you scan what's on every available channel. The included V-Chip helps parents maintain control over their children's viewing. The convenient shortcut remote control keys give quick access to desired programming.
Hughes's warranty covers the E1132 receiver for one year for parts and 90 days for labor. The remote control is covered for 90 days for parts, and the dish antenna for one year for parts.
There are some terms and conditions with the purchase of this product. There is a limit of one DIRECTV system purchase and installation per customer. Only new residential DIRECTV customers may purchase a system. Buying this item signifies agreement to sign up for one year of DIRECTV programming. receivers must be activated within 45 days by calling (800) DIRECTV [(800) 347-3288]. Failure to activate service (or canceling service within one year of subscribing) may result in a $250 charge to the credit card used for the purchase. All returned systems and receivers will be inspected for original parts and access cards. If a receiver is returned without its access card, a $125 restocking fee may be charged to the credit card used for the purchase.

First of all, this is a great system. You'll find the quality of DirecTV to easily beat that of your local analog-service provided by your cable company. Combine the fact that you get FREE installation, and you will find it to be a great deal.The human-interface of the Hughes system is hands down better than those offered by RCA and/or Philips. The ease-of-use of the online guide, setup and options is very intuitive and impressively simple - all while still offering all of the gadgets and widgets that even the geekiest of the guys will enjoy. Use the S-video connection to your television for an even better picture and you'll wonder how much different HDTV really WILL be. The sound is CD-quality as well.
