Somewhere in the Tricky Troll forest, the evil witch Scylla and her loyal companion Don Croco are scheming to capture Hugolina and ruin the Hugo family. Scylla seizes the initiative, surprising the Hugo family in their hut, hitting Hugo on the head with a mirror, and casting an evil spell to trap Hugo in the Tricky Troll forest. Hugo must find three mirror pieces to escape.

Hugo: The Evil Mirror is based on Hugo the TV Troll, a character who's been popular in Denmark since 1990. In the game, you help Hugo on an adventure through 60 levels in three worlds. Armed only with his freeze gun, Hugo jumps from platform to platform and zaps creatures into ice cubes. Hugo can push the cubes off ledges, jump on them to break them, or combine them to make bigger cubes. The bigger the cube, the more reward Hugo gets when he breaks them. However, these are also tougher to break. Hugo must also freeze each the creature generator found in each level.

You're constantly challenged to decide which creatures to go after first. An ice cube may not break if you push it off a low-lying platform. If a cube doesn't break completely, the creature re-emerges. Hugo must then re-freeze and smash the creature.

Solid level design, lots of power-ups, and three difficulty levels deliver lots of challenge and replayability.

Bottom line: How cool is Hugo? Younger gamers will think he's very cool. With each puzzle comes fresh challenges.

I enjoyed this game i started playing the easy level first to get use to it now i am on the hardest. I would recommend this game.
