Since I'm new to graphic tablets, the ability to use a pressure sensitive stylus with tablet makes work so much better.

So once I got the drivers installed and the tablet plugged in, it still didn't work.

** This is from my review for the Huion H58L, which is identical to this tablet but with 6 extra express buttons for about $10 more.

First off, this thing looks and behaves like it costs at least twice what I paid for it (less than $60 with prime free shipping). But, to get it to work correctly on a PC, make sure you install the Huion drivers from the CD or website before you plug in the tablet for the first time! Otherwise, Windows update will download annoying drivers that can interfere with the pen reading correctly. Additionally, Windows 7 users should disable Tablet PC Input Panel, Flicks, press-and-hold, and dynamic feedback. These are all useless UI features that can and will interfere with drawing. If you google "viziblr guide wacom windows 7," you will find a nice walkthrough of how to do all this-- it takes about 5 minutes to make these settings and then you're ready to draw.

The tablet came securely packed in brown cardboard packaging (similar to the packaging style of dell computers). Included were a driver CD, standard to mini USB cable, and pen stand. **Here's a secret: if you pull the bottom off the pen stand, you'll find that there are 4 replacement pen nibs included inside.

The writing area is 5" by 8", which fits 16x10 aspect ratio monitors and is pretty close to 16x9 monitors, making it a good choice for those using newer laptop screens and monitors. Additionally, the driver for this tablet allows you to lock the active area of the tablet to the screen ratio, so that your drawing movements scale in proportion to what's on the screen. Or, you can specify whatever active area you want, such as using only half of the tablet for browsing so you don't have to move your hand as much.

I had been wanting a graphics tab for a while, but since I am no professional and I don't consistently use Photoshop at work, I didn't want to shell out $150 for one. So I was glad to find this one that had good reviews, and they have turned out to be accurate so far. However, one note to buyers: to install the tablet, you should use the CD FIRST! Do NOT plug in the tablet and then try to install, either from CD or from online drivers. I normally use online drivers for everything - they're the most up-to-date, right? But you have to install from the CD, then reboot, then plug in the tablet, and voila, everything works as expected. The settings are pretty easy to navigate and the pen and tablet work fine (although I still need way more practice with it). Looking forward to honing my skills so I can really make use of the capabilities!

I own bamboo tablet and now this. I have to say this is better than bamboo with less than half the price. The pressure sensitivity is great and Windows 7 easily recognized it. I definitely recommend it.

This one took some getting used to - the basic settings, as I've never used this brand before but wanted a larger pen tablet that was actually affordable. I've worked on the "other brands" for years and I've never had any issues with them but when I finally bit the bullet and moved from an ancient desktop to a laptop, my old tablet didn't have a USB connection (yes, it was that old).

I spent an hour completely confused by the settings for this tablet until I got the adjustments just right. Since then, and it's been a couple months, I have absolutely no complaints. It's an excellent pen tablet with good sensitivity and control.

If you're like me, and not sure if you want to give this tablet a try, I would encourage you to do it. It's well worth it IMHO.

This tablet is pretty good. I had a bamboo for a while, which I like, but the tablet kept on shorting out when I was using it. And the nibs/ pens can be expensive. I like the smoothness of the tablet, and the fact that the tablet pretty much does the same thing as the Wacoms do. This tablet, well if you use this alot, does not have the side buttons like the other tablets do, it does make a little noise when you use it, the drivers are fine, but installing them was a little tricky. The only major issue I have had so far is that my mac laptop doesn't have the same key setup as the desktop macs. So, the software kept on asking me to press keys that I didn't have on my keyboard. But, overall I like this tablet. Its a really good alternative to the Wacom Intous or Cintiqs. Not, that I have a problem with the Wacoms, but they are expensive ( especially when yours decides to start breaking, and they really don't know how to fix it besides telling you to but another one.)

I bought this tablet because I heard it was Windows 8 compatible, after a little bit of playing around with the installation drivers, I got it to work. y only issue is when I'm using it with Paint Tool SAI, that it keeps switching the foreground and background colors when I press a bit harder than I should. Other than that, I like it.

When I first got this tablet, I didn't expect it to work(considering I only spent $50 on it). Instead, what I found was that it worked pretty nicely. At first, it wouldn't cooperate with Photoshop CS6, but with a little research and tweaking I was able to not only get it to work but got it to give pen sensitive strokes! The downside, since it's been two years now, this tablet's age is starting to show. The surface is now chipping away and the pen is starting to act strange. Even worse, the pen is being held together by tape and super glue, what poor pen quality :(. All in all, if you're looking for a cheap tablet to use until you can afford a better one in the future or maybe as a back-up tablet, I would suggest this beauty!
