Editorial Reviews

2009 two CD release from the British Indie Pop singer/songwriter. Cosmo Jarvis' album is broken down into two distinct sides and two discs: Hum As You Hitch describing the lighter side of teenage angst and the quest for girls, whereas Son Of A Bitch deals with darker subject matter from the teenage psyche. Cosmo recently supported Muse on their homecoming dates in Teignmouth, and he has previously toured with Reverend And The Makers, Gym Class Heroes and Gabriela Cilmi, such is the diversity of his talent. 18 tracks. I love every song with a passion. Each disc has it's own vibe. It's been a long time since I liked an artist this much. It's a little like Beatle's only an updated version. I get the feeling that the Beatle influence comes more from growing up in a similar culture than it does from actually listening to the Beatle's. Very British sounding. It's the kind of stuff you'll either love it or hate it and you should know within the first few beats.
