Great visual learning aid,

I found this to be a helpful tool for my college anatomy and physiology class. Definitely get this book, it will help you recall items on tests more efficiently. If you want to know the kind of questions A and P teachers ask on tests get the following books:Anatomy and Physiology Study Guide: Key Review Questions and Answers with Explanations Vol 1 ISBN: 0971999619 Vol 2 ISBN: 0971999627 These 3 sources should help you get good grades in your A and P class. My friends and I used them and we all did quite well.

I teach Anatomy and Physiology at a community college, so this book was a little too basic and not detailed enough for the class that I teach. Great book for the high school aged or for general information.

A Help for Students and Teachers alike!,

For any teachers of Anatomy / Human Biology at High School (ages 13 to 18), this book is a MUST for students in the age range of 14 to 16.
Not only does it reinforce the facts you teach, but it also serves as a back-up to most text books. While the sections in Griffin's Biology Colouring Book cover similar work, they are not as detailed as Matt's book, nor are they too far above the high school level as the other Anatomy Colouring Books that have far too much detail. Most explanations are at a reasonable reading level. Some may need at times a little more teacher explanation. The only major gripe I have is that the colours are preset. Some colours are very difficult to get! Get your students a copy of this book - those of your students who want to involved in the medical profession will thank you for it!

fine for children, paraprofessionals (CNAs, FNPs, RN students), middle school students or quick review for medical professionals long after those Anatomy lectures are a distant memory. I used the original Anatomy Coloring Book during my 15 hours of gross anatomy in med school and I still have it 18 years later; for the investment in time and review it was worth the price. I bought the smaller version recently for my son who's in 7th grade and struggling with the way Human Anatomy is presented in his science class, so I gave him the book, went through parts of it with him, and he finds it a little more involved than the material presented (it's dumbed down, it's a PUBLIC school) which is the point. They don't have a textbook for home study/review; it's always better to have access to MORE information than less. Also got a copy for daughter, age 9, for later. A useful tool for reinforcing learning.

All four of my children, ages 12-18 are using the _Human Anatomy Coloring Book_ this year as we study the human body. They are all enjoying this "lesson" and learning so much as they go along. My only regret is that I didn't buy one for myself.

This book is good for younger children or people who just want a very basic overview of the human body. I bought it to help me study for my anatomy class, and this book did not provide nearly enough detail to be a good reference guide for me. If you;re taking a college level anatomy class, buy the more expensive coloring book!

Very helpful in learning anatomical parts. Students enjoy coloring and learning at the same time, makes it less tedious then straight memorization. Very easy to understand but also detailed.

I give extra credit to my BIO 209 & 210 students for completing this book, and they all say they're surprised how much value they got from doing the coloring. Simple drawings that make it easier to understand the shape and location of various organs, and how they tie in with others. Text is straightforward and concise. It's gotten to the point now, after about 4 semesters of my using this coloring book, that students are asking for coloring books for my other classes, and A&P students want extras so their own kids can "do homework" with Mom or Dad.

I teach Medical Billing, but my students have to know quite a bit of anatomy. This little book is great for showing them the different body parts without making it complicated. They use the drawings as guides for projects that I assign.
