I'm 36 and going back to school for a degree to start a second career and I can understand this book easily. It is absolutely insane that college bookstores would charge $132 for this book new. Good material for class, well organized, easy to follow and practical exercises. Price gouging college kids getting an education just burns me to the core. So glad I got a great price for this on Amazon.

As an old timer going back to college, I purchased this book for my spring semester course. My daughter is in medical school, and she looked it over. Her pronouncement was that she knows most of these topics in more depth, but that if I master the contents of the book, it will be like "med student lite". That's a definite compliment.

I owe a hard copy version of this text that I bought used for $88, usually $127 for a brand new copy. It's a good book and easy to understand I just wish publishers didn't financially abuse us for needed school supplies.. I investigated getting a digital copy for convenience, until I saw the price and it's completely insane. My biology textbook is $202 and the digital copy is $78... Absolutely insane, these publishers should be ashamed! Buy the hard copy book it's cheaper..

I was very happy with my Human Biology Book. The book was bought used, but it seemed as if it was new because it was in perfect condition. I saved 100+ dollars buying it from Amazon. I am a very happy customer.

Obtained test in great condition, quickly and for significantly less that I could get it at school bookstore (which was out of the book). Definitely will consider getting all my textbooks through Amazon.com in the future!!!!

This book was just as described...brand new. The only downside was that the isbn # that is has also includes a lab manual, which I didn't get with the book. But, for the price the item was great. Shipment was super fast. I would definitely recommend this seller and this book. Thanks.
