I just loved this book and found it very interesting. I think it will help students with science and help them understand the human body more. DK seems to put out a lot of books my students love to take out again and again. They do a good job.

For science or nature books one can't go wrong with anything from DK Publishing. For the budding scientist or young biology/science student, Human Body Revealed is a super introduction or reference to the amazing workings of the human body.The four sections of the book are:In your head, In your abdomen, In your chest, and In your legs. Each section presents a general overview and then zooms into specifics. I especially like the plastic overlay pages that flip over to reveal even more detail within the specified parts of the body. Color-coded bullets clearly detail and locate individual targets such as lungs, heart, blood vessels, atrium, and bronchioles.

Vocabulary and sentence structure are expertly suited to the target audience. The short reading sections and multiple graphics add and maintain interest. Even an adult will find this book fascinating and informative.

A great book for teaching the human body to elementary students! The kids and I both like the overlays so you can flip the see-through pages over and see what's inside. Good pictures.
