TO ALL STUDENTS: order your books here and save your precious dollars for something else. The book is easy to read and is informative, as expected from a textbook. Just remember to order early to avoid the semester rush.

This book provides a good, generalized introduction of human diseases. There are some good pictures and it's written in a way that it's easy for the non-medical person to understand. Each medical term is followed by a breakdown of it's pronounciation and meaning so it reinforces medical terminology. The questions/ review at the back of each chapter is weak. I have not looked at the CD to see how it compliments the book.

I am so very glad that I took the time to review Amazon for this book, it arrived a day early and it was in the best condition ever...I will be ordering the rest of my school books from Amazon...thanks. :)

This book is great for online learning. It is not packed with too much information. Just the basics you need to know.

This workbook was required for my class but I would purchase it anyway. It was very useful! Using it meant I had studied at least 90% of what was necessary.

This book was in perfect shape, like it just come from the printer. Great deal and way on time!

Book came in great shape. The poor review is due to the cd that is packaged with book was broke in half.

My purchase was a very good one. I received Human Diseases in great sharp and it was new and the price was good,and I'll buy from Amazon again.

I want to comment on the great customer service I rec'd along with the last minute shipping needs that I needed in time for the start of school. The only disappointment I have is I did not receive the correct CD with the book and some of the end of the chapters review test/skills pages were torn out of the book. Luckily, I had a teacher that reference the book sometimes but went by her PowerPoints.....

Not the easiest book to read in the world. It puts me to sleep. If it was not a required textbook, I would not be reading it!
