This is a practical manual of anatomy for allied health students. Most of the emphasis is on the musculoskeletal system and the extremities (coverage of visceral cavity dissection is abbreviated relative to that of standard medical school approaches). Students are led through units beginning with simple dissection and ending with the most demanding dissection. Each chapter gives an overview of the skeletal element of a region of the body and goes on to outline the nerves and blood vessels of the region. Each lab section is organized by strategy, procedure, and cautionary notes, and followed up with a review and glossary of key structures.
