5.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyed the required reading!
The reading from the book was required for my class, but I actually enjoyed it! Very well written, easy to read, and worthwhile.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad for a college textbook of an intro class
Every professor knows that assigned reading is rarely read by students. I purchased this book for an introductory course to special education. Every professor knows that assigned reading is rarely read by students. I purchased this book for an introductory course to special education. I can actually say that I read at least 90% of this book, and it was an easy read. At times I wanted more information on a subject than what was given. I do realize that this is a broad overview of many types of exceptional students, so brevity was appreciated. I would recommend a professor to use this book as an entry point to special education courses because it is short and an easy read. However, I will not be keeping this book on my shelf because the features on each type of disorder are too brief and generalized to be useful as a reference in my classroom practices.

I still have not received my order of the Exceptionality book. I have ordered another book through barnes & noble. I should be receiving it today or tomorrow. I would like to receive a refund of 20.00 that which I purchased on my credit card. The rest of my order came in a very timely manor....no problem. Have a nice day. Melody E. Butterton
