5.0 out of 5 stars Human Frequency
Those of you who know my past mixes know that I am anything but a purist. To me, the most exciting music is a track that combines several styles. Lately, a tech-y flavor has crept into the songs I love, fueled in part from Detroit, Berlin, and beyond; stripping elements down yet still infusing the music with lush melody and vocals. Is it progressive? Is it house? Is it...

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good driving music
I commute 36 miles each way to work/school and go through trance music like crazy. This was really good in the beginning and through the middle. He got a little cheesy with the last few songs where parts of President Obama's speech about Change was looped in...

Other than that, good CD.

Lately, a tech-y flavor has crept into the songs I love, fueled in part from Detroit, Berlin, and beyond; stripping elements down yet still infusing the music with lush melody and vocals. Is it progressive? Is it house? Is it techno? I like to think it encompasses bits from a lot of flavors but I'll let you decide. All of the tracks here have been either produced or custom-edited by me & Mike Hiratzka specifically for this mix. I hope you enjoy it half as much as I did creating it. As always...thanks for listening.

D:Fuse does it again with another smart, creative, and unique mix. His own masterfully composed pieces along with some of the hottest new dance tracks create the perfect compilation in today's electronic culture. It just goes to show that there are still some artists in dance music that are still about the music, and D:Fuse clearly stands out as one of the most prominent and talented.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hot Savy Mix, October 4, 2009
This review is from: Human Frequency (Audio CD)
Great mix all around. D:fuse captures a great vibe with this latest mix by bringing together sounds of progressive, house, and techno. As of late mixes that are showcasing a minimalistic tech sound have turned me off. Where's the melody?? D:fuse answers that question quite nicely letting you know its "still here bitches", with this mix! Sure its techy, but its melodic as hell at the sametime. If you just want to get in your car and take a drive and enjoy a beautiful day, this is definitely a mix that will make that drive more exciting and leave a smile on your face in the process.
