It feels bad enough to spend in the neighborhood of $[...] on a book that turns out to be a tiny little paperback that barely weighs a few ounces. It's pretty much a given fact that textbook prices are obscenely inflated these days. But when books are selling at prices like this, publishing companies could at least have the simple decency to hire a proofreader! So far I've only gotten through the first five chapters, but already (including the text and the glossary in the appendix) I've stumbled through more typos, misprints, repeated sentences or sections of text, and just downright poorly written sentences, than a fourth grade English teacher would expect to see in an entire year.

As I said in the title, unless you are required to buy this book for a class, please stay away! If you are an instructor, department head, or school administrator considering using this for a class, please do yourself and your students a favor and look elsewhere!

The book I received was in horrible condition but was rated as good. Over 90% of the book was highlighted in multiple colors and even has pencil and ink markings. The pages were very worn and there was some sticky substance on the book when i received it. Why someone would be allowed to sell this book at all is beyond me. I would never use this seller again and urge anyone else to be very cautious or to make sure of what you are getting fom this seller. Oh and this seller did not reply when contacted.

I honestly did not have a choice in purchasing this book but it's a great read. Very informative and easy to read.

This book is not thick and you learn a lot in the shortness of the book.

I love the subject so I think its great.

I had to get this book as part of a college HR course. It wasn't that bad for a required text. Didn't cost that much money to begin with. And even though not all of the chapters are that interesting it skill gives you the base knowledge for core subjects.

The book was in great shape. As far as the text goes, the chapters are short, the text is easy to understand, and the layout of the book makes the reading easier to retain.

Book was in good condition. Book arrived on time. My only problem is that there was some gum stuck between 3 pages, which was not specified in the description.
