Editorial Reviews

Hailing from Lake Mary, Florida, the members of It's Alive are all still in their early 20s, but they sound like nothing short of rock veterans on their debut album Human Resources. Human Resources boasts the camaraderie of four like-minded musicians on a mission. The first single, "Pieces," offers a taste of their vision, a heavy rock and roll bottom provided by the rhythm section of bassist Juice Dean and drummer Eddie Matta that gives way to lush melodies, characterized by Zach Webb's full-throated, emotional vocals and Clay Haywood's anthemic riffs. Opening track "The Bottom" is a thudding, intense number that sets the tone for the rest of the album, an intense and driven twelve tracks with prog-rock leanings on tracks like "Selfless" and "Back to the Rain".

5.0 out of 5 stars They Have Great Potential, July 27, 2010
This review is from: Human Resources (Audio CD)
This band is surely going to become big, I mean, one listen to their music and you're hooked. They have excellent and pleasing music, and the vocalist has an excellent voice, that makes you want to replay the music all the time. Highlights of The Album Include "The Bottom", "Pieces", "Questions", "Refuge From The Wreckage", "Dialysis", and "Fool For You"

Give this band a listen, I'm sure you'll like them, in case you are wondering what's their genre, I would probably say it's Alternative Rock.

Hope this is helpful :)

5.0 out of 5 stars You Need To Know These Guys & Their Music!, May 18, 2011
This review is from: Human Resources (Audio CD)
The band, It's Alive, is a collection of great musicians, great songwriters, have a great & diverse rock sound & a great bunch of guys in general! I can listen to their "Human Resources" album all the way through each time, without hardly ever hitting the skip button, cause every song is that good & interesting & different! Can't say that about too may albums out there. They do melodic rock, they also hit hard, and they can go into a haunting ballad with orchestral strings or synths...the more you listen to each song, the more you love them. I can't say enough about these guys except buy their music! I hear they're working on new songs as I type, and I'll be one of the first to try & get my hands on the new album when it comes out!
