5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to understand February 10, 2011

I took couple of class on human rights and development and had to read many books on the subject. This book is by far my favorite because of how easy it is to read. Most of the books in the field are a bore and you find yourself reading the chapters over and over because you kept glazing over but this book is easy to understand. Yes Uvin is very opinionated and the book tries to be as moderate as possible.
