Shaiya Rothberg's essay, "Human Right's As Moshiach", is a must-read for anyone interested in a deep and reflective Judaism that is meaningful in our own time. Combining serious scholarship with innovative thinking, Rothberg shows how a traditional idea can be reinterpreted to an issue very relevant to our day, and that, in fact, such reinterpretation is consistent with the ways in which Jews have always understood religious ideas.
