I put this together with my 12 and 13 year old niece. The directions are decent, there just aren't quite enough of them. There is only one photo of the skeleton from the front, so if you don't fully understand the directions, you can't necessarily see from the picture just what it should look like when you're done. I'm pretty sure I did something wrong with the pelvis. Otherwise and still, the kids and I had fun with it.

We bought this for a school project for my third grader in science. We got an A on it!!!!!!! Would recommend highly if you need a skeleton model. It takes time to put together so if you get it, give yourself plenty of time.

I bought this book to do with my 10 year old when she was learning the bones of the human body. This was a great project and it does take some time to put together. I wouldn't recommending letting a 10 year old try to put it together without some parental help.

My daughter (a college student) was assigned this as a project for A & P (as well as labeling all the bones). She had difficulty with the instructions as well as connecting all the parts. She used tape where it called for glue, which made it a little easier. The needle and thread going through joints presented a challenge, too. It took her several afternoons and a lot of patience but she got it done. I cannot imagine that a middle-schooler could do it - certainly not alone.
