Product Description

No matter the season, no matter the board sport, the motorized iJoy® Board balance trainer keeps your legs fresh, toned and ready to carve the slopes, grind a rail or catch a wave. Just hop on and press a button on the infrared wireless remote control and experience the simulated motion of a snowboard, skateboard or surfboard in action. By maintaining your board stance on the unique non-slip platform, you increase your core balance and coordination skills, while sculpting the specific muscles you need to excel at any board sport. Test your skills by varying the speed of the iJoy® Board - slow, medium or fast - or choose the 15-minute program that intermittently varies the board's speed. Features an automatic shutoff after 15 minutes of activity.

Very well built machine. I use it for mild aerobic training. It works my abs while at the same time strenghtening my leg muscles. Makes very little noise when in use and it requires very little space. Good remote control but don't lose or break it, otherwise you won't be able to operate the machine.

I have read the reviews and everyone is missing the point of this piece of equipment. It's main purpose is as a balance trainer, not for cardio or muscle tone. Put this in a corner of your room with fall protection on the exposed side. Stand with feet in the skate board position; stand sideways with the feet wide and then narrow; stand parallel to the board with the feet close together and then with one directly in front of the other. Once you can run through these positions with the eyes open at the various speeds, move your head. Turn your head to the left with a 15 second hold. Then try the right and finally head up and down. When you get that down close your eyes. What makes this balance trainer unique is that the perturbations are all external. All other balance trainers (Bosu balls, tilt boards, trampolines) have some conscious control component. This is the only device where you have to react to what is happening with absolutely no forewarning. Great for vestibular rehab. Careful though, falls can be un-controlable when you start the eyes closed activities.
