If you were to show a picture of how humans act inside their different cultures to a visitor from another planet, this is it. I show them this work. They will get a clear picture on how religion, authority, traditions, materialism, science, political interest and a number of other factors shape our times. And for the average Joe of this earth, this book brigs down so many assumptions we made everyday about how different we are, and how apart we always be. A definite keeper to rely on whether for academic purpose or the pure pleasure that comes from looking at a bigger window than the one before. |
