Unfortunately, our dog began showing signs of a compromised immune system when he turned six months old, which included strange sores. According to our vet, the sores were not typical, of any particular illness, and all we can do is treat them when they occur, and try to keep them clean and dry to prevent them from developing into a secondary infection. Unfortunately, in August of 2012, our dog developed a sore that didn't respond to our usual treatment (Vetericyn). Our Vet reluctantly put him on systemic Antibiotics and also prescribed a topical antibiotic ointment, but after 3 weeks of treatment, the sore continued to grow and ooze. Luckily I discovered Humane Healing Wound Ointment. After just one application, there was a noticeable improvement and after 3 applications it was GONE! (I posted pictures of the sore) Since then, Humane Healing ointment and spray (I buy the ECM2 -- it's the same thing and a better value) have become staples in our house. Our dog is now 3 years old, and although he continues to occasionally develop the same type of strange sores, they never get as bad, because we treat them immediately with Humane Healing and within a couple of days they're gone. I know this is an "animal" product, but I have applied it my own cuts (to make sure it doesn't burn or sting, and it's passed the test. If you own a pet, you should have Humane Healing in your house. It's the BEST!

My dog was accidentally burned and I was given QuickDerm by my vet It worked so well but the tube was very small and Iwent through it fast. I found this online and it seemed to work just the same. It is thick so it doesn't you don't have to worry about it rubbing off so fast. A vet tech told me she used this on her psoriasis and it worked wonders.

I was skeptical at first as nothing seems to work for my Westies skin problems. At $30 a tube its quite expensive. It took less than a week but once I found a way to stop my dog from scratching it off, it eventually started to heal his nose, which he had practically scratched thru. Its healed over and is pink skin again

The post surgery incision on my dog's leg was not healing as the vet wanted. even using the vet's spray... Because I read the reviews on Amazon I bought this and it worked!!! I even used it on a small rash on MY hand..and it worked there as well..I know....it is not for humans...but I just dabbed it on my hand and it did what I needed it to do.
