I have a lot of respect for products that do EXACTLY what they claim to do. This is one of those products. It stays on securely, doesn't leak, fits wide mouth bottles PERFECTLY, and is easy to clean. You can even use the ring to carry it--YES, it's sturdy enough for that! A great product!

This cap is just perfect for wide-mouth mottles. It somehow fits both Nalgene "standard" bottles and Kleen Kanteen bottles. The mouth of the cap is large enough for filling without removing the whole lid, but not so large that you're going to slosh water all over yourself when using the bottle on the go. Perfect! I don't know if I would, as another reviewer suggests, use the strap for carrying the bottle, though. I'm just very nervous about that kind of thing in general. But that's just fine by me as I don't like having my water bottle flopping around anyway as hooking one by a carabiner tends to cause, so I don't mind that a bit.

Since this product is currently unavailable, you can find it by other vendors here on Amazon by searching for capcap. I bought this one because I preferred the blue to the green, but that's just me.

This is awesome for the CamelBak bottles when you don't want to use the bit valve. I gave it 4 stars because the mouth could be a little smaller!

This Nalgene top does in fact work great. My wife and I love it. I'm buying another 3 or so for us and a couple for gifts for our Nalgene-loving friends.

I use wide mouth Nalgene bottles all the time, and always end up spilling water on myself. These are the perfect solution. I thought they were a bit pricey, but still worth it for me. Slightly difficult to open one-handed (i.e., while driving) because the plastic piece holding the cap gets caught and twisted unless you hold it while you twist the cap off. Otherwise, works great. Have not had any problems with leaking or spilling.

I have several of the Camelbak bottles with the bite vavle and straw set-up. I like that Camelbak sells extra bite valves and straws because they tend to deteriorate over time or get lost and that's been great. However, the cap itself cannot be purchased separately which I would have liked. The bite valves fit onto a plastic nozzle that flips up and down and most of those have now broken off my Camelbak caps. I did not want to throw away or recycle 4-5 usable bottles because I had no working caps anymore. So I was really happy to find the Humangear cap. It does fit my bottles and has extended their use. The only negative for me is that the cap has to be unscrewed to take a drink of water. I work out a lot and that's kind of a pain when I'm on a treadmill or bike. I prefer the Camelbak bite valves or bottle caps with a quick pull-up, push-down spout that allow me to quickly get water without having to unscrew a cap. Maybe Humangear will design a universal cap like that-- that would be perfect in my book. I'm still happy with this cap though and it's great for when I'm not working out or my kids need a water bottle. I'm just glad Humangear saved me from chucking my bottles into the recycle bin.

This is a great solution for those of us who want a small mouth bottle but don't want to fight to have to clean it. Simply attach this to your wide mouth bottle and Walla! narrow mouth!

I love this bottle cap! It's great because it makes the mouth narrower, so I can drink it while walking, driving, etc without spilling all over myself. The top part also has fewer threads, which means less twisting and untwisting every time I want to get a drink. I'll never use another Nalgene lid!

This item is really cool. I like this better than the insert thingy which is a spout. This is cool because it is easier to drink from. Me likes it mucho.
