A little pricey, but worth it in the long run.

These are great travel bottles. I love the way they feel and their "no drip" cap is really nice. On a recent trip, I dropped one bottle in the shower and a small part of the lid broke off. When I got home I contacted human gear to see about purchasing a replacement lid. I receive an email back in less than an hour saying that they back up their products, please send them my address and they would send a replacement cap free. I was really impressed with this level of customer service so imagine my surprise when in the package there was a hand written note, not one but two replacement caps, and a free three ounce toob. I am literally trying to think of reasons to buy more of these because I am so impressed with the company and their product. Buy these!

On my first trip with my new GoToob, it worked just fine for my shampoo, but my Listerine mouthwash leaked (fortunately I had it in a Ziploc bag, and it just leaked a little bit). I was going to complain to the manufacturer before returning it to Amazon, but when I searched the web for "GoToob mouthwash," I found a list on the manufacturer's web site of 39 incompatible fluids, including Listerine.

The majority of the incompatible products seem to be cosmetic-related, and there are a few surprises (e.g., "Single Malt Scotch Whiskey"). I definitely recommend looking at the list before purchasing this item to make sure it will work for what you plan to put in it.

I wish there had been a link to that list in the description for this product, since mouthwash seems to be a very common travel item (and was the main reason I bought this)!

These are nice high quality, food grade squirt bottles that I bought to hold home made smoothie squirters for my son. He thinks they are cool and it has as much novelty (read: gets him to eat his fruits and veggies) as the store bought squirters, so it does the job. But I had some issues with it. Here's a brief review of pros and cons I found using it:

    Pros -
    - Easy to clean the bottle portion
    - Easy to fill
    - Nice to have a labeling set up around the collar for those using the bottle for multiple purposes
    - Only food grade squeeze bottle I found
    - Lid closure seems pretty secure, haven't had any leaks yet.

    Cons -
    - Food and other small items can get caught in the completely unreachable nook and crannies around the squirt opening of the lid making it impossible to completely clean once that happens.
    - Ridiculously expensive; unless you're looking for food grade there are other options out there that are about 1/6 the price.
    - Hard to get the last bit of stuff out of the bottle unless you shake it around, tip it upside down, etc - hard to do for a 4 year old (but I guess this is not really what the bottles were advertised for). It doesn't squeeze down completely like a tube.

Overall I'm glad I got this for my son, but I don't think I'd recommend it to anyone else because the lid cleaning and price for non-food use are real issues.

I am a flight attendant, and have tried many travel bottles for my weekly travels. These are by far the best I have ever used. Another reviewer said that their Listerine leaked, but I have not had that problem at all with my mouthwash or other water-consistency products. They are easy to fill, and durable. I have had mine for over 2 years, and they are still holding up just fine. They are a little pricey, but very much worth it when you don't have to replace them frequently like other bottles I have used.

I'm a fan of reusable containers, but these are pricey and so not worth it.

    PROS:
    + Easy to fill
+ Reusable, sort of... (more below)

    CONS:
    - Gets dirty easily. Outer texture is a matte finish that collects dirt and sticky stuff. When I used these backpacking, they were dirt and sap magnets and it took time to clean the outsides off.
    - Reactive material. I thought I could store leftovers in these and simply refill for the next trip, but both my Dr. Bronner's soap and some sunscreen congealed so badly they became unusable after just a month or so. That never happens in other containers I've reused, including hotel or sample bottles. What in this rubbery plastic is reacting with my stuff to do this, and do I really want to rub that into my skin?
    - Leaky. The more "liquidy" the liquid, the more likely to leak. I've had my Dr. Bronner's leak, before it congealed.
    - Hard to clean out. I can't seem to get the congealed stuff out, even if I wanted to reuse them.

So, it's back to the basic, less expensive polypro containers for me.

I travel quite a bit for work, and like to take my own shampoo and conditioner and lotion with me. I've used other products, like the Nalgene bottles available at Container Store, and they worked. But they were never quite right for me. These bottles are everything they say they are - leakproof, easy, decent size for travel. They actually have a 3 ounce size, unlike Nalgene.

If you travel at all, and like to take your own toiletries with you, these bottles are a must-have.
