Product Description

The Humidi-Grow Tray allows you to use pots with drain holes without worrying about excess water pouring out and causing structural or furniture damage. The overflow will pass through this pot and collect in the tray where the settled water will evaporate and help offset the loss of transpiration which is the loss of moisture through the leaves. Designed for minimal care. Just wash the tray and grid with mild soap and water occasionally, then refill with water.

The HT-101 H-2 1/4' x L-13 1/2' x W-10 1/2' humidity tray that I purchased was a nice tidy size-- perfect for my two small seedling orchids planted in 2" pots and my larger orchid planted in a 3.5" pot. Although their pots were small, the plants themselves were fairly large and the tray (13-1/2" X 10-1/2 ") was able to accommodate their leaf span easily. All I had to do was place the tray where I wanted it, add some water to it to the halfway mark and place the potted plants on top of its grid.

It has a simple two-piece design- the bottom tray and the grid which fits on the top of the tray. Cleaning instructions were simple, too: empty the old water, wash the tray with soap and water, then refill with fresh water. I haven't washed it yet, but upon examining how it was put together, I don't anticipate any problems when it comes time to clean it. A very nice simply-designed product.

Knowing when to add water is easy. Plants drain right into them when watered. Everything about them is perfect.

I have orchids in the home and needed a humidity tray this is attractive and productive. I will get more in other sizes soon. The insert comes out so it is easy to clean and I can water right through the plants saving me time. great product.
